The portion size to price ratio is kind of crazy. I can understand smaller portions for fine dining but this was an extreme. Even for a basic non-premium sushi like spicy tuna the size was dismal. I had to go to the Chinese place down the street because I was so hungry.

Wow, the omakase menu for Valentine’s Day was DELICIOUS! The order of the menu was a tastebud masterpiece. Juno King, Yuzu Halibut, and the octopus hand roll were flavorful standouts! And the sea eel was next level… I’ve never had eel like that before, very buttery and umami, my favorite from the menu! The raspberry mochi cake tasted like a nostalgic funnel cake but way elevated in the best way possible!

Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just exploring Japanese cuisine, Juno impresses with its creativity and precision. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone craving high-quality sushi in the city. Highly recommended!

The maki rolls were delicious and the sashimi tasted very fresh. Also was impressed by the sauce on the edamame. Definitely was a little on pricier side, but for good sashimi it was worth it. I’d come back for more of the rolls for sure. Our server was very kind and patient as well. Staff was friendly.

My family and I are major Sushi lovers. We enjoy trying new spots and this week it was Juno. We heard they had creative takes on their nigiri and were not disappointed. I especially enjoyed the smoked specialty rolls, I have never had anything quite like it. The presentation was unique. My favorite roll was the Crisp Sake. The extra crunch was delightful. They also have all of the usual suspects, from the unagi trio to salmon, tuna and scallop. but make sure you try the chef’s special creations, all are delicious, though I must point out they are small for the price. Overall, I would come again and be a little more focused with my selections.

The quality of the fish was high and I think it was a reasonable amount of food for the price point but this was NOT an omakase.

There was nothing spontaneous or chef-driven about the meal. There was NO reason we needed to be sat at a counter on uncomfortable high chairs to be given a pre-planned menu by a waitress.

PROS:

The quality of fish
The quantity of food

I would not recommend the Omakase but I would return to order ala carte the fish was so good.

CONS:

It was not a luxury experience at all luxury price point. Our bill was $440 for 2 people and also included a sake flight and glass of white wine.

Big issues were the pacing, quality of rice, and service + we had wood chopsticks which is an insane choice for a $125 pp tasting menu.

The waitress went from take your time to you need to hurry up so we can turn your table but we waited for 15-20 minutes between our final dishes so it soured the end of the night to be hassled about rushing but then made to wait for dishes and to get such a massive check … the waitress also repeatedly reached ALLLLLL the way over my friend and her food to put my dish down which was so off-putting and also like a service 101 thing ….the price point simply didn’t match the experience.

I was also shocked that the nigiri pieces had super dry, almost stale rice – it seemed like maybe the pieces were pre-made. The fish was fresh and the plating was beautiful but to have bad rice is a big NO.

I wouldn’t recommend the omakase (that isn’t even omakase), but I would go back and order the fish ala carte.

PS. The hosts and bartender in the front were all LOVELY. I waited for a bit before my guest showed up and they were so nice and welcoming!

So delicous! Stopped in to celebrate my 11th year anniversary with my partner and we were not disappointed. We did the omakase service. The food was great, delicious and not rushed. They also have a small selection of Mocktails, all were tasty, but the Blueberry was my favorite. My partner did the 3 sake flight, which pairs with select servings. Our server, who walked us through all the dishes, was wonderful. Overall a very fun and delightful night.

Absolutely fabulous, truly. I’m so happy I didn’t pay attention to the critical reviews (sorry folks you have no clue on high end sushi based on those comments).

I’ve been visiting upscale sushi spots for over a decade across SoCal, NYC, and Japan. This is by far one of my favorite, and I’m definitely coming back.

On top of the perfectly seasoned selections which were completely melt in your mouth, the service provided by Patrick G was top notch, friendly, and made us feel like long time customers.

We were a bit concerned bringing our infant with us however, it was no issue. Everyone was so kind and helpful, even the floor manager/hostess came by several times to say hi to her and interact.

There’s also a very uncommon Japanese beer (in the US) they’re carrying which was the perfect smooth balance with the meal.

Can’t wait to be back again!

Simply…spectacular! The master chef was in and we could get the omakase. I can only present you pictures of every dish, but I can assured you that every single piece was perfect. The waiter was knowledgeable, welcoming, warm. The dining room was quite and comfortable. The chef was working in the open kitchen as if he were in Tokyo or Kyoto. Another perfect night to celebrate life and love.
