The service was solid throughout our visit. Staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates and check in without being intrusive. The restaurant itself was very clean and well-maintained, which always makes the experience more enjoyable.
The only small drawback was that there wasn’t much of an option when it came to drink choices, which would be a nice addition. Other than that, the overall experience was excellent, and the food quality more than makes up for it.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Arizona and want a fresh, made-to-order all-you-can-eat experience.
All you can eat, delicious fresh sushi with gorgeous presentation. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, always rechecking with my table to put in a new order. Also, I dont know how they do it, the rice is packed but so light and puffy. Truly, this is the best sushi I have ever had!
For starters, they market this place as “premium” and I guess anyone can slap that word around these days because there was nothing premium about the fish quality or the experience.
The fact that they limit each round to only FIVE orders at a time was my biggest problem. How are you limiting the order amount and inconveniencing your servers even more? This is not my first rodeo. If you are forcing your customers to only order 5 at a time then you’re not giving them a premium experience.
And only ONE order of freshwater eel for the entire visit? HOW IS THAT A PREMIUM SERVICE? You could go to A Sushi and Sakura Sushi for less cost, better quality, more quantity, and have an overall better experience than whatever it is they’ve got going on over here.
Now the server himself was quite nice and I knew he could tell I was extremely irritated about the situation and was very attentive. But the fact that you have a server running about 10-12 different tables and forcing them to go back and forth because of a silly order quantity is a waste of everybody’s time. I don’t care if it’s to space out the orders for your kitchen. If every other restaurant has somehow managed to get it done, then surely this “premium” restaurant can, too.
And the problem is that had they not marketed this place as premium, I would have written it off as being overpriced and not worth the cost. But the audacity to claim that this was worth paying a few dollars more when there was absolutely NOTHING to differentiate themselves from their competitors made me so compelled to write this review to defer other people from coming here.
Now you don’t come to Arizona for premium sushi, but if you’re marketing it as such and severely under deliver, then that’s an utter shame. I will never return to this restaurant and am disappointed that I ever went through with it.
Most of the food tasted fine with the exception being the raw foods. They were room temp and I unfortunately got food poisoning hours after eating. Petty sure it was the food here as I didn’t have any meals prior other than a light breakfast.
Honestly, this is a lower quality and very slow AYCE. I’d recommend others in the area at this point. The price is too high for the food quality and service they provide.
So you just wasting your time waiting for orders to be served (and it’s all the same variations under different sauce)
Spare yourself and have a trip to Vegas instead for a nice Ayce sushi experience (for the same price). This one is just an underwhelming experience
