Great lunch spot on the water. After a day of exploring Bad Head, it was nice to sit inside and enjoy the AC. Jules has a beautiful casual patio space if you prefer that instead.
Excellent service and our food was good. I kept it simple with shrimp, fries & hushpuppies. Lots of options on the menu.
As others mentioned, it’s pricy, but EVERYTHING is more expensive on the island so it’s about what we expected.
Look forward to coming back for Friday night karaoke sometime.

Great view from the deck overlooking the marina, but a little pricey. Enjoyed a crabcake sandwich with curly fries. Husband had fish sandwich BLT with homemade pasta salad as the side. Great spicy margaritas! ️ Excellent service

The service was horrible. I asked for a diet coke three separate times while making eye contact to confirm she heard me. I finally had to ask a different passing server. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The ice had a really funky smell & taste. I asked for a new diet coke without ice & I received a to go cup with the same diet coke with the ice removed.
The nachos were chips, old blanched pico de gallo, dried canned black beans, & small bowl of canned queso (it’s an additional charge if you request more) & it barely covers the top layer of chips. We added the blackened chicken option and no jalapeños while my sister in law ordered the nachos with grilled chicken.
Our blackened chicken nachos came with jalapeños, while the grilled chicken nachos didn’t. Both chicken options were cold.
This place was NOT worth the hype or $ in any form or fashion.

The place is great location. Has super rude prices for the plastic chairs and the Ruby’s Diner attitude. 120$ dinner with plastic tables chairs and rude *I’ve been here for 8 years* attitude. Honestly… the attitude and voices/chats when they all get together can be heard from the customers.
*the owner did reply, however, i worked there over a year after I made the review. If it was a malicious intent, I’d have done it right after I worked there. I review just about everywhere I go, and I had brought a friend here. She has about 6.3 million views. I told her to NOT put her real review up. So this is a pretty good review because I liked the owner and it’s a fantastic spot. I was being nice compared to what a friend was reviewing (she’s actually a restaurant review paid person)

Overall, it was ok. My spouse and I visited for an early dinner on a weekday and there were only a few customers. We sat on the deck overlooking the marina, which is probably very lively in season. We didn’t go inside the restaurant itself. Service was very slow, and it was difficult to tell if the two waitstaff working outside were also serving tables inside. The food was pretty good, but quite expensive. The dish shown was described as being inspired by trips to the British Virgin Islands, which convinced me to order it (because we’ve been to the BVIs and love the cuisine). However, the dish was a fairly typical medley of seafood, without Virgin Island flavors. Still – it was ok. If we come back to BHI, we might give it another try; maybe for lunch.

The bartender was nice to give us water as we waited for them to open. The staff were all so nice! The grey goose bloody Mary hit the spot. The green tomato and pimento cheese blt was beyond delicious. Overall a perfect lunch spot!

The food was the most expensive on the island by several dollars a plate, but the least quality. It seemed mostly pre-packaged or frozen, and the portions were very small. The salad I ordered came in a bowl the size you would use for a dip or salsa. Because it came out late we were told the salad would be free, and the bill showed it was removed. Later we checked our credit card and saw they had added it back in. Also beware – they charge 3% for credit card orders and another 10% for takeout, on top of already having the highest food prices on the island. We were very disappointed, and I’m also disheartened that the owner seems to be responding rudely to reviews and deflecting responsibility rather than accepting the feedback, which would be the professional way to run a business. There are better places to eat on the island with excellent views and great service, I’d skip this one until they either have better food OR better prices. I really think the people who enjoy this place are mostly referring to the drinks, or not eating until after they’ve had a few.

Early Sunday dinner outside. Veronica took good care of us. Food was hot and fresh. Peel and eat shrimp shared as appetizer. Chef special was GF. Scallops, risotto, and veg, very nice. Shrimp and scallops were huge on size. Family had calabash flounder and shrimp. All was good, especially good was the flounder… tasted fresh, not greasy, and cooked just right. Ask the waiter about GF. Beautiful marina views a bonus! Was this helpful? How about doing me a solid by

We have been coming to the island for 15+ years, we have seen all the restaurants that have come and gone. Jules is the worst, ordered take out, and not even half the take out tray is full… for that price you all should be ashamed. Tenders fried till hard and dry, even my kids are like what is this… for the price of the food the least you can do is give what we pay for, and 2, take pride in your work. Its absolutely ridiculous to get back and open the plate for it to be half empty AT FULL PRICE. You should have left eb and flos alone.
