LoCo Fish Co. in McKinleyville is great quality seafood. We tried the fish and chips; the fish was cooked just right and the chips were crisp. The shrimp tacos were flavorful and well-balanced. Service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were fair for the portion sizes. A satisfying and convenient option for a family meal.

So I had the halibut and chips,special of the day. 2 large pieces of halibut coleslaw and french fries. I would have gave 5 stars but the halibut was overdone and the breading is way too thick. It had good flavor tho. The french fries same way over done in old grease maybe. I dont know. The tatar sauce 1 of the best i have had. The coleslaw better than most. I dont know why people dont try craisins in coleslaw sweeten it up a bit. Thanks i be back to try a burger at a different time.

After hiking at Redwood NP and feeling hungry, we decided to stop at this place for a quick lunch. Based on the review, halibut & chips are a big hit so we ordered that. The order was quick but there’s a wait a little bit, not too long but I was hungry lol.

Bummer they used to so good. Basic fish and chips price going up and portion size and quality going down. And the coleslaw used to amazing. I hope they still do good tacos etc.. but I’ll be getting fish n chips from trinidad eatery for same price

awesome. I got the Korean rice bowl ($15), which was delicious. it came with a fork. the staff were nice & it only took a few minutes to get my food. they handed me a thing that makes a noise when my food is ready. There were some napkins, picnic tables, & a trash can there also. one of the tables was in the shade.
