Barbecue made in true southern style : Texas Twinkie’s, Alabama pulled pork, carribean style ribs. Using a competition southern pride smoker that Gordon Ramsey commented was the rolls Royce of smokers, it is truly a culinary experience. Sauce is available but not needed. Catering is available upon request.

Definitely authentic BBQ! No frills atmosphere but absolutely mouthwatering food! I ordered the 3 rib with one side plate. About 3 minutes after receiving our food, the cashier brought me an extra rib. She said the cook thought my 3 ribs were on the small side and he wanted to make sure I had enough. Southern hospitality at its best.

While visiting Manitou Springs, CO, we walked by the town’s fire station and I asked a local fire fighter for good places to eat. He recommended Otis’s BBQ. It’s a kind of hole in the wall enterprise – very simple, functional decor with a limited menu. A very friendly couple waited on us. We ordered the brisket plate w slaw and sample platter w slaw and beans for the sides. I learned everything is smoked off site. Then every 3 hours the meat is wrapped and brought to the restaurant. We enjoyed our food. The slaw was uniquely tasty with a pepper forward flavor. The beef brisket was good, but lacked some tenderness & juiciness one looks for. The pork ribs had a pleasant rub taste. Overall, the plates weren’t very hot. We emptied three of the four partial bottles of BBQ sauces that were provided. I wished they were full. The sauces were really tasty! For a restaurant that’s been open only a couple of months, I hope it can sustain and make itself a name. Regardless, we had a good time and felt fortunate to have eaten good food.

Found Otis’ BBQ sort of by accident, and when we got there the owner was getting ready to close up— all they had left were ribs and brisket, and we grabbed a couple brisket sandwiches. Boy, were they delicious! We forgot to grab any drinks but chowed down anyway, when the owner came up to our window with a couple sodas for us! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing people! Can’t wait to try more of their stuff next time!

Absolutely fantastic and some of the tastiest BBQ I’ve had. Service was fast and the owner, Stephen is beyond awesome! The brisket is absolutely wonderful whether sliced juicy or chopped. The bark is tasty and smoke flavor is the perfect intensity. Baked beans are smoky and flavorful and coleslaw is crisp and refreshing. And that pecan pie is perfection! 2 picnic tables to eat at in. Located on the premises of the El Colorado Lodge. A new favorite for sure!

We stumbled upon Otis’s BarBQ thanks to the friendly owner standing out front chatting with passersby — and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and top-tier. The staff made us feel like family, and Otis himself is a true highlight — genuine, kind, and clearly passionate about his craft.
Now the food… incredible.
The brisket was hands-down some of the best we’ve ever had — smoked for hours, juicy and packed with flavor. Otis uses a dry rub only, and it really lets the meat speak for itself. The pulled pork was tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious — just amazing.
We also tried the baked beans and macaroni salad as sides, and both were fantastic. And as a refreshing surprise, they even offered fresh watermelon slices, which was the perfect touch.
Every single bite was outstanding. If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and stop by. Otis’s BarBQ is the real deal — highly, highly recommended!

We were visiting Manitou Springs and had lunch. It is a casual restaurant and had limited menu. They only serve pork and beef. Our daughter only eats poultry so she ordered food next door and brought it here. The BBQ were delicious.
