I’m so glad we stopped in for lunch, the manager is a friendly familiar face & it was so good to see him! Birria tacos and ramen were on our minds and they did not disappoint! The birria roast was so tender and juicy just like my mother’s roast. Chunky guac & queso are great too.
They also have a full ice cream bar, we were too full for ice cream after lunch but we’ll definitely be trying it soon too.
Grateful to have your restaurant in our community, we’ll definitely be back.
Thanks for the great food and service.
Juanito’s completely breaks the mold. They bring real flavor to to the table. Their mediocre salsa was nothing to write home about, so my expectations for the main course were low.
But man, when I took my first bite of the birria tacos they brought me, I couldn’t believe it. It damn near instantly changed my life. The complex mix of flavors achieved a flavor profile that was unlike anything I’d ever tasted before. It brought a tear to my eye.
It was juicy, multi-layered, and satisfyingly textured. Such an explosion of flavor meant that I’d certainly be leaning back in for another bite if it was the last thing I ever did. Yup. I was immediately addicted.
For that second bite, I dipped it in the accompanying onion soup bowl, and it all happened again. I couldn’t believe it. I thought I was dreaming. I began to wonder if that moment would be the peak of my existence. Was it really all downhill from here?
A wave of sadness began to envelope me as I prepared to take another bite. Like being told the same joke thrice, I knew that this next bite wouldn’t be nearly as good as the last two, so I grabbed the red bottle they placed on the table and lightly spattered the rest of the taco in its mysterious contents.
“Good Lord”
I lost all voluntary motor function. My mind went blank. There was some creamy green sauce I tried as well (which was just as delicious), but the rest of the meal was a blur after that. The last thing I can remember was going to the big lots next door.
Tucked between a gym and a finance office, Juanito’s might not look like a standout from the outside — but step inside and it’s a different story. You’re greeted with warm smiles, a spacious Mexican-themed dining room, and even an ice cream counter up front with unique flavors like tequila & lime.
I started with tortilla chips and house-made salsa — crisp, vibrant flavors with garden-fresh cilantro, bright tomato, and a clean finish.
For my main, I went with the Burrito Veracruz — a massive, pound-sized burrito stuffed with chicken, chorizo, shrimp, rice, and beans, smothered in queso, and served with lettuce, tomato, onion, cilantro, cheese, and sour cream. Every bite was balanced, rich, and flavorful.
Service was friendly, my bottled Coke ice-cold, and the prices fair for the portions.
⭐ Overall: 5/5 – Fresh, flavorful, and worth the visit. You will not be disappointed.
