My favorite part about finding new places to eat is to see what people enjoy! I went here an hour after it open and it was really busy. I got a meat plate with 2 sides. I loved the portion sizes! I took leftovers home. I was impressed with the food. The pulled pork wasn’t dry despite the appearance in the photo. BBQ places focus a lot on the meats, but Blanchard’s sides were just as good. Good bbq don’t need sauce. It’s a flavor enhancement. I can tell when someone is trying to hide the lack of seasoning. There’s no issues here!
I only tried 2 of the sauces and prefer the Creole BBQ Mustard Sauce over the root beer flavored sauce. Customer service was excellent. I enjoyed my experience.

This was my first time here. A friend suggested it for a lunch meet up spot. It was great. I was shocked. I had the two meat plate, but now don’t go here for a low cost lunch. This is expense for a lunch IMO. The mac and cheese and corn were the sides I chose, and they were delicious. 5 stars. 4.99 stars if possible because it was expensive. $23 bucks for lunch.

The food was to die for! My cousins and I had a get together and we spent almost $160 on BBQ getting a pound of each meat. When I tell we couldn’t wait to dig in once they brought the plates out it looked so good. The ribs sticky or normal are so tender and juicy almost fall off the bone but it still has a bite to it. The lean and fatty brisket was phenomenal I’m talking pull apart to the touch tender and the smoke ring and the glistening inter muscular fat looked so good. You don’t even need their sauces because the BBQ by itself is just a treat. Don’t even get me started on the Birria Tacos they were so good stuffed to the brim with meat,cheese,and everything between. After about an hour everything was said and done we all felt stuff,full,and extremely satisfied that we chose this spot.
The staff were very quick to clean a table and get us seated after we ordered and not even 5 minutes or so our food was out on the table ,the wait time was minuscule. Plus they were checking up on us and were impressed this group of 4 could tackle that much BBQ. The customer service was great and so friendly and to be there around New Years time felt so good to be surrounded by family and such a great atmosphere. 10/10 Recommend this place when your in Lafayette.

The food was great and so was the service. Very fast and efficiently. Brisket, burnt ends, and ribs were so tender and well seasoned. The sides were delicious – Mac n cheese and baked beans were seasoned.

Outstanding. And 20 percent off to military veterans? A+. The ribs and brisket were very good, but what caught me off guard was the portions! You can easily split a 2 meat plate! The sides as well were huge, the beans were a hit, the potato salad was just different, wasn’t the best for me, but everything else was quick and delicious. They have a good thing going here.

Amazing BBQ! BBQ Sauces and Sides are very different, but the food is excellent! Worth every penny! Smoked perfectly! Tender and moist! I love the fatty sliced brisket, burnt ends, ribs and turkey!

Best Barbecue in Lafayette!!! My personal favorite is the turkey with their mac and cheese. But honestly everything from there is good!! I’ve tried other things off my husband’s plate! The ribs, the brisket, the sausage. Everything is good, fresh, and delicious!! Fantastic service!!

Called to place a pickup order because my friend was literally outside in the parking lot and the line was out the door. We just wanted to place an order for brisket sandwiches before it sold out. The woman who answered the phone was so rude. It’s not what she said but how she said it. Although I enjoy the brisket, I’ll never patronize the business again.
