What a lovely food experience. I took a friend for her 84th birthday. She lived many years in Colombia.
We were prompted greeted. I ordered the whole fried fish which was red snapper and she ordered from pork from the lunch menu. She also had a Margarita. The cocktail was presented in a beautiful glass that was easy for her to handle.
Our food arrived in a timely manner. The presentation was amazing. The coconut rice(heavenly) on one side and slaw and avocado on the other balanced the fish so that I could easily remove the flesh from the bones. It was cooked to perfection. Tender not greasy with a nice crispy outer. And the chimichurri was something I could eat by the bowl. I had not had yucca before. A dense texture that was complimented by the amazing sauce that was on top. Not too much so they weren’t soggy. It was so much that I brought some home for another meal or two.
Her pork was fork tender. She oohed and aahed at the tenderness and flavor. She loved the plantains and rice. She too had enough to take home for another meal.
They delivered a nice flan with sweet figs, oh my goodness, and strawberry.
The owner and waiter were attentive but not overly.
If you have an adventurous palate and want to treat yourself you have to try this place.

Such a delicious lunch! It was Wednesday so empanadas were BOGO. We tried the chicken and it was full of flavor. My lunch plate was such a great value for $14. The service was also first rate. Highly recommend this little, tucked away gem.

I’m a celiac person and this place just joined the few and the proud and excellent places I can eat worry free in this area. Not only that but everything was delicious. Chicken was moist, rice and beans were full of flavor and the pandebono was lightly cheesy and lovely. Tipped the kitchen, which I don’t do often. Awesome find!

The owner is so nice! And the ambiance is excellent. Very unique vegan items. And what I had was perfect. I’m only giving the food four stars though because it isn’t all vegan. And there’s not a lot of vegan options. But it was actually very affordable for what you get! This is at least the third time I’ve been there and it’s very consistent. I highly recommend this place and even if you’re vegan definitely check it out because it’s definitely unique.

This was our first visit, and we were warmly welcomed by Jayson, the owner, who took the time to speak with us. Our server, Christian, provided excellent service—attentive and friendly throughout. The food was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this restaurant, and we are looking forward to returning to try their Sunday Brunch menu.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. We got the whole fried fish, skirt steak, beef empanadas. The empanadas are perfect, the guacamole is the best I’ve ever had and I normally don’t even go for it at restaurants. This place definitely poured their heart into their food. Try their fresh juices, mango was the closest thing I’ve had to being in the Caribbean and getting fresh squeezed. Amazing experience.

first, this is a family owned restaurant in a small shopping center off Sweeten Creek Road. I did not know what to expect. Walked in and was seated by the main server Ezekiel and his trainee Lauren. They were so sweet, funny, and charming that they took the overall experience a step further than it was going to be. I had not eaten at a Colombian Restaurant before so, again, did not know what to expect. Ezekiel suggested the Chicken Empanada as well as the cucumber salad. Both were excellent. Tasty empanada and a lot of salad which was wonderfully flavorful. We had the Cazuelada de Mariscos and my partner had the Arroz Asiation, both were phenomenal. Also, the portions were exceptionally generous. It’s the kind of venue you want to go back to and support, as well as get an excellent meal. The owner came by our table and he was as charming as he could be. All in all, such a lovely experience on all levels. Will be back and will definitely recommend to my friends, especially the ones that are gluten free, as there are a dearth of those types of restaurants in the Asheville area.

Had wonderful brunch with friends today, everyone loved their food!! I had the whole fried snapper, it was outstanding, very crisp outside, very tender inside. Served with yummy unique sides. The chimichurri sauce is fantastic that they pour over the fish, be sure to get a bit extra for dipping.

Went here for lunch with a friend. The wait staff was exceptional. They were kind, friendly and helpful. I had the sampler which was WAY more food than I realized and it was super delicious. I am gluten free so knowing their menu is 100% gluten free was super helpful. I am also dairy free and ate here with ease. The steak was awesome. I will be back to try more! Also – don’t sleep on their juices!

The food was hands down the best Columbian and honestly any other food ive had recently. We couldn’t stop eating even after we were full. We started with empanadas followed but the sampler and the fish of the day. Everything had flavor and a sauce that enhanced the things that normally kinda bland. My friend who never had Columbian but also said she didnt certain items tried everything and couldn’t stop. She normally has a small appetite. The fish was red snapper and was amazing, just remember its the whole fish so that means bones and tail and head are served. The restaurant was also gluten free which as someone who has a friend with severe celiac is a nice option for them. Yes I would go back and plan on it.
