Went with a friend and ordered the two taco combo for each. It came with two tacos (duh!), potato salad, and a drink. The total for the two dinners was about $22.00, a little expensive but then again what isn’t these days? While the restaurant may not be much to look at, just a big open area with some tables and chairs, and no real ambiance to speak of. The chicken tacos however were delicious! I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were and the potato salad wasn’t half bad either ! It’s not exactly a romantic spot for you and your other but it’s ok for a quick bite and a little friendly chat.

Food was delicious. My whole family loves the food. My order always comes out quick and the staff is friendly. Place is clean and the decorations are a nice touch. Definitely going to continue coming here. The potato salad is the best I ever had.

I was so excited for my husband to come home with my chicken, that was short lived. The chicken was old and dry seemed like they reheated the chicken a couple of times. Hopefully you don’t get like the other restaurants using old food.

Why are the chickens so small?! They used to be nice big pieces. We have been buying there at least the last 10 years. Today they looked like guinea hens. My Lord.

Bloomington store- I ordered the half chicken at $16 plus. When I got home I was like “where is the chicken breast???” It was cut in half or close it it. I called and talked to a guy whom I sent the photo proof. He says, come all the way back (20min) drive instead of just saying (I’ll give a full one for your trouble on the next visit) I basically said i would never be coming back and he said “that’s fine” their loss. Ive been going to Juan pollo for close to 30 years. I will NEVER step foot in one ever again and my friends and family will be hearing about it also.

Honest reviews: We went there around 11 AM on 07/09/23, the chicken itself was good or tasty, salad wasn’t good because of some veggies were burned ( please see our pictures), potato salad were okay, the service from the staff wasn’t welcoming, and they don’t even apologize when our tortillas missing. I don’t think we will coming back there anymore.

Their potatoe salad is the best, but when it’s freshly made. It’s a hit and miss lately. We did get a disclaimer from one of the employees lately. “It’s very “sensitive ” and spoils fast”. Organic food does tend to spoil faster than non organic food. Not sure if their ingredients are organic or not, but we are talking about mayonnaise and eggs. I don’t make potatoe salad so I cannot compare how long it would last. I know if you’re a real Juan Pollo lover you know what I’m talking about. And it’s not enough of a reason for me to stop going. When it’s good it’s really good. Just for today the food is a 4. Also, I hope I’m wrong but I think their seasoning of the chicken might have been altered a bit. Just in the slight of flavors. It still tastes great thought. Best rotisserie chicken!
