A wonderful restaurant in Gorham! The food was great and service even better. I absolutely love how everyone worked well as a team. I even saw the owners working in the kitchen.
I was greeted by Valarie. She was very kind and helpful in finding me a seat. While I didn’t get to sit in her area I could tell she was working hard with the tables she did have.
My bartender Lauren was exceptional in her service. The food came out just as I wanted and I had an accurate amount of wine in my glass.
I will be back!

We were passing through coming home from a vacation up in Maine and weren’t sure where to stop for lunch so we stopped here based on the great reviews. Oh my gosh. The chowder was to die for, (and we’re from the Cape so we know a good chowder when we taste one!) fries were excellent, chicken fingers for the kids were fresh and homemade looking, my burger was incredible and my husband had the club sandwich which he devoured and took the other half home because it was so big. Service was quick and super friendly on top of it. Thanks for a great experience, J’s!

My wife and I had dinner at J’s Corner Restaurant & Lounge tonight, and everything was fantastic. We started with the Buffalo Chicken Rangoons, which were absolutely amazing — crispy, flavorful, and a perfect start to the meal. My wife ordered the Yankee Pot Roast, and I got the Rodeo Burger. When the food came out, I tried a bite of her pot roast and immediately wished I had ordered it too — the veggies were fresh and the roast was unbelievably tender. My burger was great, but that Yankee Pot Roast definitely stole the show. Highly recommend!

This is a very unassuming and humble place and we had an awesome meal here. The flavors and portions along with the value were wonderful. We think the chicken items in particular were the stars of the menu for our group. Our service was nice and attentive and overall this is a great option for dinner or drinks (they did have a loud bar here just a heads up).

My wife and I stumble upon this hidden drum while we were traveling through New Hampshire. My wife ordered the vegetable ravioli with pesto what she said was absolutely delicious. I had the southwestern salad with grilled chicken and that was equally delicious. The French onion soup was amazing as was the clam chowder. Our waitress was quick an attentive and the service was delightful. The restaurant had a nice setting but unfortunately the interior seemed quite drab. It seems that the color gray has become quite a popular color scheme these days. Not a fan of that as unfortunately it takes away from the warm homey atmosphere. It’s nice to see vibrant colors when you dine in fine establishments. Other than that everything is amazing about this establishment and I would recommend to anyone seeking a fine meal.
