I have tried several takeouts in the area and this is definitely my favorite. The fried rice is actually fried rice and not the yellow Spanish rice with pork that most places serve around here. I have been going here for years and I’ve never had any issues. I would definitely recommend and I will continue to dine here.

The cleanest Chinese restaurant I have ever seen. It is family owned and they’re so sweet! It is a truly local restaurant! Their recipes are so good! The sauce has good flavor and isn’t too sweet, which in this area is hard to find. We will definitely be repeat customers!

The woman behind the counter tonight was clueless. Not friendly at all. After I ordered my food, someone asked me to get them something. When I added to me order, she acted put out. Hope the food is worth it otherwise I won’t be back!

First time I went there in 9 months ago it was good next couple of times I went there within 2 months ago it’s gone downhill. Portions are much smaller prices are much higher. I don’t mind paying more but when you get less food especially in a Chinese restaurant that’s disappointing. I ordered dinner and got not even what you would consider a lunch portion. And it wasn’t even the quality that I had expected from the first visit so something in that kitchen has definitely changed and not in a good way. I’ll be going back to another restaurant that I know has better quality even though Joy luck is closer to my house.

Best Chinese we’ve had in the area. We tried the place everyone said is the ‘best’ place in the area, and were severely disappointed due to lack of flavor– this Joy Luck Cafe hasn’t disappointed. We’ll be back.

Since I am a resident of Port Orange and do a lot of takeout, Joy Luck was one of my “regulars”. This last time was so disappointing. Instead of raising their prices (due to inflation) they decided to cheapen their offerings. Instead of a full container of my chosen dish and white rice what I got was white rice and at least one third of my chosen dinner was filled with fried rice! Really? You should have just raised your prices. I would have just accepted raising prices but what you did made me angry! So now you are off my list of take out restaurants. Such sophistry!
