Fantastic food and service! I can’t understand the bad reviews. We ate breakfast here twice and dinner once during our stay at Hoodoo. Breakfasts were generous portions with very fresh options. Steaks were fabulous at dinner! Cooked to order perfectly. Prices seemed reasonable for the quality and portion size. Service was attentive and friendly.

This place looked at fancy when we walked in and we thought we were a little underdress, but I felt a lot better. Once people were coming in with shortcuts and normal clothes and I felt comfortable and then we ordered our food and it came out. Perfect I really enjoyed my prime rib and my husband enjoyed his steak ribeye and we both enjoyed our food. It was the best steak and prime rib we had and our server was awesome and very helpful when we asked questions about the menus and all that stuff. And after we ate our food all he asked us about dessert and we were curious what it was so we asked questions and we ended up with the cheesecake and it came out and it was a fancy cheesecake, but it was so delicious we ate it all, even though we were full so after all this, I was in a food coma, but it was a good food coma so we don’t mind coming back sometimes to eat here and try something different on the menu because we really enjoyed it.

What an underrated gem! As guests of the Hoodoo Hilton in Moab, we chose to dine here mostly for convenience — but it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. The experience far exceeded expectations from start to finish.

The atmosphere offers something for everyone — whether you’re looking for a refined indoor dining experience, a relaxed evening at the bar, or a laid-back meal outdoors with the desert breeze. It manages to feel both upscale and comfortable at the same time, making it an easy choice for any mood.

The food was absolutely outstanding. My husband ordered the burger, and he’s a tough critic when it comes to a good one — he declared it solid, which is high praise from him. I ordered the prime rib, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly prepared, tender, and flavorful. The sides that accompanied it were spot on and complemented the prime rib beautifully.

We also enjoyed a few drinks — the espresso martinis were delicious, balanced, and beautifully presented, and we sampled a few of the local beers, which were great additions to the meal.

Our server, Dan, was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and making sure everything was just right without ever feeling overbearing.

Overall, this restaurant deserves far more recognition than it gets. Whether you’re staying at the Hoodoo Hilton or just passing through Moab, Josie Wyatt’s Grille is well worth a visit. It’s a perfect blend of great food, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service.

Stopped by for lunch and (early) dinner on our most recent trip to Moab and was not disappointed. The service and food quality was excellent. Both times we stopped by we ordered off the lunch menu. Sandwiches, crab cakes cocktails. After a day in the rocks everything hit the spot. Cannot speak for the dinner menu. Check this place out.

Loved our first visit! Cozy, festive atmosphere and excellent food. We stayed at the hotel too and even enjoyed drinks by the fireplace another night. Definitely worth it — we’ll be back with friends!

Best place we dined in Moab. The overall reviews did not look favorable so we avoided it til our last night after being disappointed in all of the other dinner options we tried.
Prime rib, rib eye steak were very good. The s’mores bowl was also very good!!

We had our anniversary dinner there and it was magical and delicious from start to finish. The food was a delicious blend of flavors and textures and the service was amazing. Highly recommend for any meal especially if you’re staying at the Curio Hotel because every meal was fantastic and high quality food.

My husband and I ate dinner here during our stay at the Hoodoo Curio Hilton Hotel. We both loved our food. The restaurant was busy, but not crazy—off season in Moab. The atmosphere was lovely!

We ordered a crab cake appetizer—delicious with the right amount of crispiness on the outside and excellent flavors. Dinner service also included rolls lightly topped with Parmesan and served with hot honey whipped butter. I ordered the braised short ribs. It was seasoned perfectly and complimented by sides and mashed potatoes with carmelized onions. So delicious! My husband ordered a steak and loved it. It was cooked to the level he requested. I ordered a dessert mocktail (27 weeks pregnant, so no cocktails for me) that was amazing. I told our waiter the general flavors I like in a regular cocktail and the bartender was able to create a fabulous mocktail!

Pretty disappointing overall. The avocado toast was unlike any we have seen before and not in a good way. It’s described as having a togarashi, but it’s not a lot and the dish overall is a bit flavorless. Very bland and disjointed dish with a bunch of separate plain and boring ingredients. Would probably benefit from turning the sliced avocado into a mash and adding the togarashi to that instead. The avocado was a little brown, sliced, and just stacked in between oversized onion slices and tomatoes. Would not recommend.

Chicken and waffles were also disappointing. The waffle was really good, but the chicken appeared to be a thigh, mashed beyond recognition. It was stringy, difficult to cut, and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Reminiscent of gas station gizzard/liver trips with my dad growing up. Never again.

Service and environment are great though! Lots of potential at this place, but the breakfast needs some serious work. Huge disappointment in our otherwise amazing stay at the Hoodoo.
