The food is always so good. There hasn’t been a time iam disappointed. Don’t forget to try their dirty Chai, BOMBBBB. I usually get their creamy breakfast sandwich, ahhhh it’s perfect. The bacon is cooked good, the cheese is sooooo cheesy, I wish the egg was a little more overhard but that’s just me when it comes to eggs. Their potatoes are really good too.
The service on Plumb is a bit disorganized with the seating yourself. There were a lot of dirty tables so people started to stand next to dirty tables and wait for them to be cleaned. I feel that’s awkward for everyone, I wish the waitress didnt have to bus their own table. Otherwise, the service is great. They get you your food fast. It’s very spacious. They even have an outdoor seating.
I would recommend this restaurant to any and everybody. It’s worth the wait.
Wide open menue, breakfast, lunch and more. Food was amazing, service was good and the bakery is to die for.
We went in and were immediately greeted by glass display cases of fine pastries, cakes, and cookies.
But first we wanted to have lunch. It is seat yourself but has an upper class vibe that is very clean, and professional — the chairs are comfortable, the tables are large, and the dining area feels appropriately spacious. Our party of four found a table easily, but the room was pretty busy around 1 pm for lunch.
We started with a few hot lattes and my wife and I got their sandwich and soup combos.
The latte was delicious and I was cleaning the bottom of my cup with my spoon .
Combo #1: Turkey and Tomato on wheat with tomato bisque . This was recommended by the server and was delicious. The sandwich was crispy, fresh, had plenty of meat, and the mad the little bit of mayonnaise complemented the bread perfectly.
Combo #2: Ham and Swiss on white with Viennese goulash. This was the second recommendation and overall a great choice for someone wanting a more “meaty” combo but I think the white bread roll couldn’t stand up to the wheat bread we had with the turkey.
Both combos came with a delicious, soft, thick chocolate chip cookie. Also very delicious.
Coffee drinks are not great but the schnitzel and the crepes make up for it
However, it did take 1hr+ for a meal for two. In this time, service was inattentive. There was some degree of disorganization.
I thought this was a really cool location and setting! Over time, maybe this location could improve with ambiance and service.
This was an extremely unpleasant experience and the second worst restaurant I’ve been to in Reno.
