We always enjoy visiting Villagio, especially during the holidays to see the iconic upside-down Christmas tree. While the food is consistently good, they were unfortunately out of the Salmon and Ossobucco during our visit; however, the chicken parm and grilled chicken salad were delicious.
Regrettably, the service from our waiter (glasses/bun) didn’t meet the high standards we’ve come to expect here. He seemed a bit off – notably rolling his eyes and seeming put off. He even wanted us to pass plates to the head of the table, despite having plenty of room to walk around. On a positive note, the owner and another staff member stopped by to check on us, and they couldn’t have been more welcoming.

We went here in the mood for pasta, and we were not disappointed! I had the bolognese and my brother had the chicken parm. Both were top notch.
I will say the old fashioned cocktail was made with crushed ice (a big ice cube would be so much better!). Salads were good, but the house salad was a little light on the dressing.
Overall, a worthwhile trip. Would recommend for anyone in the mood for Italian!

Was a fun restaurant, seemed very nice and had a great atmosphere. The server was not the greatest and my chicken came out burn. Others at my table enjoyed their food, but shared the sentiment of the server.

What a great first time experience! Reserved a table online so we walked right in to a cozy private booth in the back. Loved the atmosphere. Great and quick service! Absolutely delicious food at a very reasonable price cannot wait to go back!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! As soon as we walked in we felt welcome. They complimented myself and my daughters on how nice we looked and they were so attentive the entire time. The atmosphere and vibe in general were so much more than we could have hoped for. The food….incredible doesn’t even come close to how amazing it was. We had the filleto and shrimp scampi followed with the donuts and cannoli dip for desserts. The wine suggestions they gave were perfect as well. We are already planning on making the hour drive back here just to have dinner.

My 1st time at this establishment was very, very pleasantly surprised & content in every aspect of our experience! From our Hostess( Andrea), our waiter( Tyler) & the Chef serving exquisite pasta buffet the dessert we ordered was decadent ( cannoli pieces, drizzled with Hershey chocolate syrup & piled scope of cannoli filling we brought friends & all of us stated that we definitely would revisit this great place again ❤️❤️❤️

The house salad is big enough to be shared – the artichokes and olives were very good.
The seasonal cocktails were tasty – especially the Pear Martini.
We enjoyed the Osso Buco and the Carbonara was a huge portion.
Our server Kaylee (sp?) was delightful and attentive.

Had dinner at this Italian restaurant and here’s the lowdown:
– Service :A bit slow, could’ve been quicker.
– Food :Average, nothing stood out but wasn’t bad either.
– Ambiance :Good! Really added to the vibe.
– Highlight was the live singer – lovely touch!
Overall, it was an okay experience. Ambiance and the live music saved the day. Might go back for the atmosphere and check if they upped their game.

Very interesting restaurant. At first glance… you might be confused by the rustic nature look of the place and the reviews that the chef is amazing. I was expecting real simple food like burgers and fries. But, instead I got an amazing steak feature and the short rib gnocchi. Got the $3 drink special (before 6pm) to start the meal… espresso martini and and Tiramisu to end the meal. Very very good. The place is rustic, the meal is sophisticated. Definitely give this place a try.

We have been coming to this restaurant for over a decade. This was the worst experience ever. The whole family ate in our coats as it was so cold. Service was so slow. Food was cold when it came out. Server barely came to
Our table. We visit Ellicottville every year and this restaurant has been a must do. But probably won’t come back. So sad to see it go downhill like this
