Good stick to your bones soul food. Staff is very friendly. It’s just like going to a friends house for lunch.

First time here, we had the oxtail that was good and Staff was friendly. It was like eating at memaw’s … Parking was a challenge in a 2500 but the oxtail and staff made up for it

The first time I ate here it was good. Today was the second time and I am so disappointed. The food is good don’t get me wrong but for one, one of the ladies got snappy about rice not knowing exactly what was said between the other lady and I (because the lady really wanted to give me fresh rice since it was low). Second, the food portion was not worth 18 bucks and my corn taste like it was not cooked all the way. I’m from Houston and I love to eat and do not mind spending my money but this is my last time here.

I eat there on a regular basis. It’s probably one of my favorite places to eat as I realize that I prefer home style cooking and the women there know what they’re doing with those pots! Outrageously good eats!

Not a fan of Soul food but wanted to treat my sister to lunch during a break in business. Visited today for first time. Not quite sure why a fried chicken dinner (leg and thigh) and rib tips cost $35. It’s an acquired taste I guess because it was not enough to warrant another visit.

Definitely one of the most expensive soul food places, small portions compared to most places and what’s with all the rice and not enough gravy? I was excited the first time I ate here I thought the food was exceptional I just thought they were a few little problems but it was most likely just one of those times. It turns out that the three times I’ve been there where exactly the same.

Treat myself weekly, but today was a bad day. I usually love the food but rice was under cook, meatloaf and gravy and black eyed peas bland. On a positive note the yams were excellent.

Food was home cooked but NOT worth the $23.00 i was charged for a “to go” container plus the container had portion sized to it when co-workers got containers overflowing with food.

when I seen the Chicken, it reminded me of my mother Chicken its look so beautiful, well seasoned, and when I took a bite of it I just smiled, the rice and grary, gray, sweet corn and the beans, just made me think of my mother’s cooking, the ladies were friendly and smiling, definitely will go back when I’m in Beaumont and make sure you get the lemonade

I love Jones! When I’m in the mood for a little soul food, Jones is definitely where it’s at! The atmosphere is great, and these women are truly passionate about what they do and it shows in their delivery. Great food! Great service! Can’t beat that!
