DON’T WALK HERE, RUN!!!!!! Delicious food and friendly staff! This place is a hidden gem that NEEDS to be discovered. If you’re craving suya, asun, jollof rice or any other of their delicious menu items, this is the place you need to come to. We drove 1.5 hours to get here and will definitely be back!

I got the chicken jollof. The people are very friendly and nice. Rice was just okay but the chicken was definitely very good. I would definitely want to come back but I most certainly will not. I paid $27 literally for some chicken, rice, and cabbage. Call it a portion and a half but I did eat the entire thing. Really though, I can go almost anywhere in this city and get the same, if not better, for $12-15. I’ll be honest, I am not even sure how they remain in business charging those prices to people. Well, that’s my two cents minus 2,700. Up to you if you want to give it a go.

Jollof & Grill is hands down one of the best West African spots in NJ. I’ve traveled to Nigeria several times, and this is some of the most authentic, flavorful food I’ve had outside of there.
The beef suya is the best — completely unmatched. Perfectly spiced and grilled to perfection. The jerk chicken even surpasses many of the Caribbean spots nearby — smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. And the circle-cut yams are a must — perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Fresh. Flavorful. Authentic. Outstanding. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.

Worth the trip! Food is delicious. Very spicy if you’re not used to it but it burns so good! Great service too! Thx!

Ordered via Uber eat , the food was well packaged on delivery. I had the Suya combo , with fried yam and plantains. The plantain was the best ripe state as I like them. The fried yam is a must with the side sauce , make sure you get it! There efo rioro is very spicy , so if your spicy level is very low, skip it. Also there efo is just plain spinach ,it doesn’t have little fish ore things like other places.
Overall, my top food here is their Suya , plantain & fried yam with sauce.
I called in to make inquires about a canceled Uber order and they were very helpful with their explanations.

Came for takeout. It had just opened and I got an order of the jollof rice and suya. The jollof was good but the suya was great! Plantains were fried to perfection. The staff was so kind.
Parking is tough but food is worth it!

I found this place via Instagram right before my trip to NJ! I was so excited to try it. When I called I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to order being a vegetarian and most of the jollof dishes came with a meat or seafood. The person on the phone explained that I should get the Efo Riro with the jollof. I’m no stranger to jollof and this place has good jollof! The staff was so nice when I picked up my order and that’s a lot these days! Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in town. P.S. that hole in the jollof was from me trying it out before recording the video .

My second time visiting jollof & grill and I brought my friend with me. We were happily greeted upon entering and even got to meet the owner. She’s the sweetest person ever We ordered the beef suya combo and it was delicious. The jollof rice was flavorful. I love the raw onions and cabbage that comes with it. The beef suya was also cooked to perfection. The plantains were ripe and tasty as well. & Can we talk about portions? You get a lot of food for the price. I shared half w/ my grandma and she enjoyed her food as well. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Original Nigeria jollof rice experience without the usual hot spice! Combo with the barbecue meat (popularly called “suya”) completes the unforgettable experience for me!
