I was in National City and wanted to stop by another place down the road; however, the long lines had me heading this direction toward Jollibee (west of the 805 on Plaza Blvd).
While Jollibee wasn’t the original choice, it was still a pleasant experience. The workers were kind and welcoming. And the food was ready in minutes.
Because it was a beautiful day, we sat in their patio. It was clean and well-maintained by a worker that day.
Orders included a bucket of Chicken Joy, Palabok and Filipino Spaghetti. And, of course, a Pineapple Refresher.
Overall, I was satisfied with Jollibee. Our visit included a delicious meal al fresco served by friendly staff.

Expensive and not so great service. I ordered online for pickup. I ordered the $5 side of coleslaw. It’s SMALL, probably 5 bites. I was was charged $5 for a side of adobo rice…..is rice that expensive? My $5 must have paid for all the rice the rice cooker held.. The chicken is ok…..moist and starting to get soggy. I saw my order sitting on the back counter. I guess I was waiting for my lychee iced tea. So my fries, chicken were getting cold on the back counter because they couldn’t make my drink and call my order for pickup. I know I waited at least 10 minutes because my order was supposed to be ready at 6pm and they finally called my at 6.12. people couldn’t tell if others were waiting in line to order or waiting for food because so many people were waiting. Fries were cold.

Stopped by Jollibee National City, and everything hit the spot! The Pancit Palabok was delicious — perfectly seasoned and comforting. The Spicy Chickenjoy was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor — and that signature gravy sauce made it even better.
The Peach Mango Pie was as good as ever — sweet, flaky, and nostalgic. But the surprise standout was the Katseye Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich — flavorful, juicy, and perfectly balanced. Definitely best enjoyed fresh and hot on the spot!
They were very busy on a Sunday afternoon, so I highly recommend pre-ordering through the Jollibee App before heading there — it’ll save you a lot of time.

The 11$ chicken joy is what I ordered. The spicy chicken was Soo delicious was (extremely delicious in particular). It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten chicken that good! I also got the mango pie. I will be back again!

I went here around NYE. . . And, they did excellent, AGAIN. The chicken was so fresh, it fell off the bone! The spicy chicken wasn’t overbearing and had a good amount of spice. I didn’t wait long and I was given my food right away and everything was fresh. The woman in the drive thru window gave excellent service w a smile. And, the gal’s voice who took my order was clear and smooth. Thank you Jolibees! ~National city -5 stars

I stopped by today to get my usual 2 piece chicken joy for lunch, which is usually 2 big juicy pieces of chicken, but today, I got half of a thigh. I went back in and asked for the other half of the thigh, and that’s exactly what I got! Lol! I guess they’re cutting the thighs because of the prices of everything going up. I’m usually satisfied with the quality of the food and the friendly service, which is why I kept coming back.

We visited Jollibee since there are not any locations near us on the East Coast and were in California for a trip. I ordered a Bacon and Cheese Chicken Sandwich with french fries. We ordered inside and then took our food outside. The service was honestly pretty slow for a fast food place, so I was not exactly thrilled with that. The food also did not really live up to the hype that I’ve heard about Jollibee, but I also didn’t really get their iconic menu items, like their fried chicken or spaghetti. The chicken sandwich was really good. The chicken patty was thick and the toppings on it were good. The cheese was not melted so that was kind of a disappointment, but it tasted good. The french fries were pretty plain. Overall, I was glad to eat a meal here, but it did not live up to my expectations.

This was the first time I have had Jollibee. OMG it’s amazing. The best chicken I have had. Please Jollybee open in El apaso TX please. The staff was very friendly and nice. I happen to get to the restaurant about 15 minutes before closing and they treated nice and welcoming. I highly recommend Jollibee.
