To was my first time eating at this establishment. The first thing I noticed was that this establishment was clean , the staff was professional and kind , and the food was excellent. If you are in the area, try them, and I have no complaints , I’ve traveled around a lot and tasted different restaurants , and you won’t regret it. Excellent food, excellent service, breakfast all day long. Variety of food available. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Prices are reasonable. Whenever I go to the Charleston area I will drive out of my way just to eat at Alex’s restaurant. And will continue to do so. My favorite place to eat.

The grits were good, the liver was good, the fish was surprisingly good. The pancakes were great. And the sweet tea was awesome! I enjoyed my meal. I’ll definitely be back! Don’t mind my sister, she drowns her food in hotsauce.

Ordered there biscuits and gravy. If homemade I’ve had better taster dry wall mud it was nasty. They asked if everything was good I told them about the gravy. I told them I didn’t care for it and get me the bill. She rung it up. I said your charging me for it she said what was wrong with it you didn’t like it I said yea. She charge me anyway. I’ll never step foot in there again. I also said that the time before. So for sure now. I only had 2 or 3 bites.

whole menu is available all day long.. breakfast to dinner.. the special is available all day long which is awesome for those who work odd hours. i had the country fried steak with sides of greens, mashed potatoes, and texas toast at 8am in the morning
