Just to bring awareness to the current state of Johnys 2. I’m only reviewing this place once because NEVER again. The old owner who’s food that we all known and loved is no longer there as of probably years ago. The new owners are very unprofessional. They come off nice but its phony. The food quality was GREAT before them. Now its TERRIBLE. Beware ⚠️.

I really enjoyed my meal. I have only been here twice and both times I bought the 3 piece wing meal. Wings were seasoned and cooked well. Nicole was working both times and always has a great attitude and is very attentive. Definitely my new place to stop for lunch on Saturdays.

I ordered with lemon pepper expecting it to be similar to others like sharks but it ruined my meal. So much lemon pepper concentrated into specific spots made it very salty. The bread was plain which was surprising because I saw what I believe to be seasoning but the taste was just blank(besides the slightly burn aftertaste it left). If you order I suggest just sticking to chicken/no lemon pepper on anything

Wings are incredible, I can tell the cooking oil is changed on a regular schedule and often because everything that I have ordered (deep fried) is not greasy nor over cooked. Employees are always pleasant and helpful. Family friendly.

I ordered a hot dog everything with fries and an pizza puff. It took about 15 minutes or more to get my order with only one order ahead of mine. When I went to eat the hot dog the bun was hard. The Sierra Mist I ordered tasted like soda water. I would not recommend going here.

New to park forest and I work in the area, I have heard good things about Johnys 2 so I tried them out. As far a cheese burgers go I was satisfied with it. I liked that grilled onions came on the burger, and that they were cooked perfectly. The staff was pleasant and my food was given to me in a reasonable amount of time… They may earn that fifth star as I have a chance to try them out a little more to see if what I received today is consistent.

i’ve been here a few times and their food wasn’t the best but it was still eatable, just a place close to home when i didn’t feel like driving. but today they cooked my wings in really old grease the bag reaked of a horrible smell. my wings were burnt i wasted my money, now i know to always check my food before i leave. it literally tasted like poop . DO NOT SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS WHAT YOU WOULDNT EAT! period. i will not be returning.
