We rented their private room for my daughter’s wedding dinner. They were wonderful to work with. Heather helped coordinate linens and answered all my questions. The food was hot and delicious. The only reason I gave 3 stars for service was that we only had one waitress. She did so well though. Would do it again if needed!

Came from out of town for an appointment and decided to grab a bite to eat at John’s and it honestly far surpassed our expectations. There were so many options on the menu, which sometimes can mean the quality isn’t the greatest, but the food and service were absolutely phenomenal. Lisa was our server, and she was so helpful and lovely. The portions were generous and flavourful, and everything was reasonably priced.

Basic diner atmosphere, place was busy. Seated right away, food came out in less than 10 minutes. Schnitzel with gravy was good, Greek potatoes were cold almost like they were sitting in a steam table way too long, same the with corn. Cauliflower soup and the butterscotch pudding were the best part. Good value for the quantity of food, $19.99 for everything included. Would try again in hopes the food was fresher.

It was our 1st time here. Friendly staff, flavourful food and nice environment. Prices are reasonable and good size portions. Will definitely be back. One of us had the gyro with side greek salad and greek potatoes while the other enjoyed an all day breakfast option. The homemade tzatziki sauce is so good.

Neat retro dinner. Prompt and friendly service. Good selection of dinner items but got the big breakfast and my daughter some eggs and pancakes. Well cooked and tasty and good portions. Only small issue was cleanliness but overall nothing to complain about and will return if back in the area to try some of the other offerings.

Our server was extremely rude and seemed uninterested in providing us service. We arrived at 7:40, ordered drinks, she brought us our drinks, we ordered food, and after bringing us our food at 8:15, we were unable to talk to her until 9:00 (when she brought our bill). She did not check in with us once to see if our food was alright and/or if we needed anything. We had the desire to spend more money at your establishment but were unable to because of our horrible service. We love this restaurant and come here a lot for breakfast, but our service from Heather F was horrible and soured our morning.
