The food at John’s Palm Desert is just the best. If you’re looking for a home-cooked meal right in the heart of the Coachella Valley, John’s is where it’s at. My husband, my daughter, and I all got combos with perfectly cooked fries and even more mouthwatering burgers. The sourdough bacon burger combo was particularly my favorite. Add a fried egg and you’re good to go, and I can’t speak more highly of the customer service from the cooks behind the kitchen to the register to the staff out on the floor. Everyone had a smile on their face and was ready to give you the best customer service possible. Five stars, I 100% would come again, highly highly highly recommend!!!

John’s Burgers is a very good place to have lunch and breakfast their food is very good and have very good customer service and the prices are not bad either. The atmosphere was great there are lots of tables to sit at and my order didn’t take that long at all about 10 to 20 minutes. On the menu I ordered one of the delicious burgers. The thing is most restaurants have terrible Fry’s that are all smooshy but but their fries were pretty good nice and crispy and and amazing. The burger was so delicious because it was nice and juicy and cook very well. My mom ordered one of their hamburgers too and she said was pretty good. Their employees are very nice and respectful. This is a great place to have lunch or breakfast I recommend coming to it one time.

My breakfast Cali burrito was on point. It was good every bite. My wife enjoyed hers as well. So the food is good, The atmosphere seemed like everyone was worried it would be good. Whatever the vibe, you’re pulling through it, keep up the good work, it’s time to upgrade your dining area. Everything is just a little rundown. I feel with a little love, The restaurant can be revitalized somehow, you know like one of those episodes with Gordon Ramsey. The restaurant is nice and deserves to stay there, I hope that helps.

Palm Desert John’s Restaurant will take you back where the John’s name all began before they reached out to place a restaurant in Palm Springs.
My father would bring me to this location many years ago & till this day it remains there & very little has changed.
We do not come here regularly but decided to this past week due to having my personal mechanic live around the neighborhood.
My partner & I both ordered off the lunch menu, however when we first came in we were nearly acknowledged (employee enthusiasm was just not there at the time (I recall going to Subway that same morning before work & the team member was much more welcoming & courteous as well & they don’t have a service charge prompted after the payment) we’ve been to the Palm Springs location & the same thing happened now that I come to think about it, it’s very much ironic.
After receiving our food we sat down & we noticed the owner by what it looked like he sat on one of the very end booth tables just looking back at the kitchen or TV can’t recall & at the time we noticed a slight change in service steps suddenly after his appearance, again very ironic.
Long story short nothing compared to the Palm Springs location & the level of service they have when providing a service at your table for you.
Palm Desert has A Pricier Menu .
Food was 5 stars.
Enjoyed it and was very tasty.
Ambiance is nice we went when is was past lunch maybe dinner time.

Typical diner but that was exactly what we were looking for. The patty melt was perfection. The pastrami was smokey and next time more mustard but so good. Onion rings were crispy and tender.
The chili cheese fries were huge
All at a cost that didn’t break the bank.
As far as the service. We went in and ordered. We were then told to find a seat. The view was amazing and our food was served to us, with free drink refills.

I’m so glad I found this place. I got a turkey burger combo. The fries were okay. Nothing really special. They were slightly greasy but that may be just because I got them to go. The turkey burger was seasoned great and it was juicy. The inside was a classic diner. You don’t see many places like this anymore. The staff were super friendly and inviting. I would definitely come back here again.

Diner-style food. We had fried chicken which came with soup or salad, and a side such as fries, onion rings, or fried zucchini. Food was average but they fried the chicken to order, so it was hot and fresh but the seasoning was a little bland. We were the only ones there at late afternoon, but they are probably busy at breakfast.
