So many things… They don’t give receipts from what I can tell. The older guy with the beard treated me like garbage, after he got my order wrong. He laughed at me and refused to remake my order. Horrible customer service. Food was okay, but you have to deal with this guy. When I told him I wanted the double cheeseburger that I ordered, he told me to slap the two single cheeseburgers together… and that would be my double. Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your money here!

My husband I frequent Johnny’s for lunch and dinner. Their menu makes it hard to decide every time. They give huge portions. Their chop salad is amazing and such a great price! Husband loves their chili cheese dogs and fried oreos. I also love their beefs and cheese fries. Doesn’t matter what you get. They don’t miss! I believe the owner is the guy with the glasses and black hair and he’s always so helpful, kind and quick! Grateful we have this place close by!

My first time here. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. made some great recommendations and I went with the most popular items she suggested. Chicago style hot dog everything, delicious. My favorite fries! The gyro was big portions and amazing. Also tried the Italian ice. Loved everything. Everything including a drink for less than $20. Great value. Excellent food! 5 stars.

Not sure if under new management or it just took them a while to hit their stride but wow what a turnaround. They have always had good prices and generous portions but the quality and taste of their food is now surprisingly good. We had not been there in over a year and stopped in on a whim and ended up going back twice more in a two week span. The service is great the staff is friendly and we will definitely be visiting again soon!

Great local place for hot dogs and more. They have all your normal hot dog stand staples. I love their 2 hot dog special that comes with fries and a drink. Their crinkle cut fries are fantastic and they give you a healthy portion of them.

Johnny’s Red Hots is definitely RED HOT,it’s on FIRE. The food here is awesome!!!. My wife had the standard Chicago style Hot dog,fries and a strawberry shake. I had a Chicken, yes I said Chicken gyro with Greek fries that had feta cheese on them. My wife also ordered fried pickel spears and fried oreos,the batter tasted like a funnel cake or elephant ears!. The decor is all Chicago and rt.66 decor. They play 1980’s music in the restaurant. And they use Vienna beef Hot dogs which is what any Chicagoland person should eat. The staff is extremely friendly. So go visit Johnny’s Red hots,you will not be disappointed!!!. 5 stars,i wish I could add a 6th star!!!. Awesome place that I’d love to re visit and eat here again!!!.

After Easter dinner shopping at Caputo’s, Johnny’s was the perfect lunch for Michigan travelers. The hot dogs were perfect with steamed poppy seed buns and perfect proportions of condiments. The crinkle fries were crispy and generous. We tried an order of Greek fries were amazing. The staff was welcoming. The restaurant was very clean. We can’t wait to return for more deliciousness.
