We are traveling to the area And saw the restaurant. my wife and I went in and ordered Hunan beef and Hunan pork. To be able to have a positive outlook on this I must say that the broccoli was cooked properly and very crisp. There was adequate portions of meat and from there everything goes downhill. This is Chef Lee at lake Anna and the meal was a big disappointment. On the menu, It has the symbol for the Hunan pork spicy. I asked for mine to be hot. When it came out, it was so bland you could’ve fed it to baby, I asked her for a spicy seasoning and the waitress brought a cup with oil, and it looked like crush red Peppers. This has no taste or spice, she apologized and said we don’t know what hot is. I feel sorry for the local people. If this is the best oriental restaurant in the area. For future customers, please read this review and that you have been warned.

I’ve tried Chef Lee a few times and tried several dishes. I’m just not a fan of anything i have ordered. Last night some friends wanted to get some take out from there. I ordered chicken chow main and chicken lettuce wraps. The chow main was slimy and bland. The lettuce for the lettuce wraps wouldn’t wrap anything and some of it was brown. The filling for the lettuce wraps was sticky and tasted mainly of soy.

The food here is excellent. It always tastes fresh but it has gotten a little bit pricey.

Being new to the area, around 2:00 Saturday I placed a carryout order for Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Crab Rangoon. The food was dry, overcooked, and had spots that were burned. After two bites I threw it away. In the entire state of Virginia, this is absolutely the worst Chinese Restaurant.

Food is great for take-out. Portions are smaller than normal and it’s a bit more expensive.
