Absolutely wonderful service. Great atmosphere. The country fried steak was so good. I don’t know why they took it off the menu. The pork chop is delicious. Make sure you get the fried one. The chicken is not seasoned properly. The sides are OK depending on when you go.

First time here and I was honestly expecting more. I ordered the quarter chicken with Mac and cheese, mash potatoes and gravy with a side of cheerwine bbq sauce. I was dissatisfied with the size of the chicken (this plate was 11.99) the leg was super small. I was more disappointed about the Mac and cheese, it taste like it came straight out the plastic bag you boil. You can really tell if a restaurant is going to be good just by the Mac & cheese. Mash potatoes and gravy were good but I think my favorite thing I ordered was the sweet tea. My husband ordered the country fried steak with a side of okra , “broccoli cheddar casserole “ (it’s just steamed broccoli with cheddar cheese sauce and crunchy breading on top , not an actual casserole) and a side of Mac and cheese. Overall he said everything was “decent “ also “the Mac and cheese and broccoli cheddar casserole wasn’t good nor bad “ . The only thing he really liked was the okra .

Me and my husband were 1st time diners. We were seated promptly. Our waitress was great, NO complaints there. The food was mediocre. I’m not saying it was bad, just not as seasoned or freshly prepared as I anticipated/ expected. If i had to compare, it’d be to a plated Golden Corral. We want to give a 2nd try to give a more fair assessment.

The fried chicken skins needed to be cooked with the actual chicken, to add actual chicken flavor. The actual chicken skin (not the attached crispy breading) was TOUGH! I would not purchase again. The green beans were great county cooking…good and tasty. I don’t believe the broccoli cheese casserole was actually cooked…and it contained no rice. Hush puppies were quite good, but the corn muffin mix was straight from a box, was not cooked with butter, so not too tasty. BlackBerry tea was great. Service was excellent.

Actually between a 4 and 5. It is a family friendly restaurant, a solid menu of a variety of casual food. Hamburgers, chicken, beef tips, and salmon with choices of a long list of sides, including many non-fried vegetables. Baked potato counts as one side. We split our meal and they brought a full regular plate out for an extra plate instead of a small one. Service was good during a busy time. The food was tasty, and not soaked in butter. Small cornbread muffins were free appetizers. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean with 3 handicapped bars and side area with changing table. Not a date night or special events restaurant, but for a solid good meal in a sit down booth or table, it’s a winner.

Wonderful experience, food, and customer service. Cornbread, mashed potatoes, and chicken salad were amazing. I also appreciated the server who brought my son crackers & courtesy bread for our first visit because she saw he was fussy while we waited for our food (which didn’t even take long to get) Sometimes it’s the little things that can mean so much, very thoughtful. We will be back for sure :).
