Coming from a person who was in the food service industry this was a sad experience. the food was good and the shakes were great as always butttt the most important part to me is that the service was lacking and it wasn’t even busy there were maybe 4 family’s in total and many employees standing hudling around the counter one even hovering over his phone and when we tryed to flag him down he just stared at us and then continued on his phone . Our waiter only came over to take our order he didn’t check in with us or ask if we needed anything. my sister got up and went to the counter to ask for honey Mustard because our meal didn’t come with it even though it was on the menu. On top of that we had to flag someone down for a box and our check and none of the 5 people at the counter could help us she said she needed to wait for our waiter to come back . I then tryed to pay for our meal with cash and was told they are card only wich would have been okay but there’s no sign or note letting the customers know. Overall not the greatest experience unfortunately and it’s sad because my family always loved it there.

Short staffed, we had to wait a few minutes, no big deal. Our server was very attentive to our needs and visited the table often. Food was great, as has been at every Johnny Rockets we have been to. Great burgers, great onion rings, great tots! Great end to the day at Great Escape.

After experiencing a bad service, I checked the reviews and I was not surprised, as I experienced similar issues. We arrived and waited a long time to be seated, another couple arrived behind us, but no one was coming to attend us. My husband went inside to ask for help, and the staff were chatting at the bar. Eventually a girl came over to sit us with a very bad attitude, she throw the menus at the table and left. She did exactly the same with the other couple. Eventually, our waitress showed up, and she was good. Food is average. Restrooms are dirty, the floors of the dining area and restrooms look dirty and sticky, like something was dropped and not cleaned. While we were eating a old couple also came in, but they were less lucky than us, a guy who was at the bar preparing shakes told them the restaurant was closed (it was 3:40pm on monday, and they clearly weren’t closed) there wereat least 10 tables occupied.

No hostess upon entry. Waitress was annoyed as soon as she came to table. Made me entirely uncomfortable to be there, like I was an inconvenience for being wanting to give her money for service. We ended wanting our food to go. Manager said they would comply, then waitress came out with further attitude when we were waiting. New as a Lake George resident and was excited to eat here but was a waste of time and effort. Skip here go most anyplace else and receive better service. Try at your own risk! If you enjoy rude behavior and waiting for a half hour to leave hungry, this would be the place to go! ♀️

If you plan on having your child’s birthday here and at great escape lodge, please reconsider your choice. Despite having the “party room” booked for quite some time, there was a family seated in the room with us and the staff was extremely disorganized. We had approximately 18 people and they gave us 1 menu to look over and when asked for more menus we were given 1 additional menu. The when we wanted to order, the waiter helping us was no where to be found. So some of the guests went to the bar to try to get service where they were practically ignored by the other employee for so long that when they finally decided to take our order, I’d completely lost my appetite with disgust. The staff member behind the bar opened the door and called into the back saying she “can’t do everything on her own”. With the party came sliders, salad, onion rings and fries, aside from the salad the food was dry and terrible; you could get better food in prison. Our children were having fun running around on the deck outside for at least an hour before and older staff member came out and said it wasn’t allowed. When it came time to cut the cake which we brought ourselves, we had only a butter knife to cut it with. It took far too long for them to give us our passes to go to the water park and we were asked to move SEVERAL times as we waited for them to finish assisting us. The employees clearly hate their jobs and have power trip issues. Hard to believe this place is even still in business.

This used to be my favorite restaurant and now it’s gone down the toilet. Burgers used to be as big as Five Guys now they are smaller than McDonald’s Value Burgers. My wife, father, mother in law and I all got burgers and I think they are the same size as McDonald’s cheap $1.50 burger. My favorite, Spicy Houston used to be a quarter pounder sized patty. Now it doesn’t even go to both sides of the bun. I had to look to see if anything was in there because I took a bite and only got bread. Just to see a pickle sized burger in there… Very sad. This restaurant is a shell of it once was. Even the jukebox was broken… The bathrooms where very very dirty. Biggest disappointment ever. I hope they either get a remodel, get new management or close down. This is very sad for me I used to love it here… But it’s not a johnny Rockets anymore it turned into somthing else .

First of all, the food we ordered took over an hour to arrive, and when it did arrive finally the order was all messed up. The Hot dogs were burnt and the Milkshakes they are known for is just as good as other Fast Food places. If you are at the great escape, please save your money and skip this place.

We waited almost 10 minutes to be told it would be a 25 minute wait. There were only a handful of tables actually with people in them, all the rest were empty and it was only 3:30 in the afternoon. I understand many places are short staffed but if you can’t even accommodate a few people not at dinner or lunch time maybe you should close for the day. Unfortunately, with young children a 25 minute wait to even be seated isn’t feasible so we were not able to eat anything. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to trying them.
