Mannn the food was absolutely disgusting. The salad had brown pieces of lettuce and the potato soup tasted really funky, like the cheese was expired. I didn’t eat any of the soup and picked at my salad. My waitress didn’t even stop to ask how the food was, she’d just drop things off. The chicken fettuccine tasted like canned chicken. So so disappointed, won’t be back

AMAZING. My family came here after attending my sister’s wedding, we had a rough ride coming from Florida and were starving by the time we ended up in Alexandria. We found Johnny Carino’s and it was an absolute gift, from our lovely Waiter Sharon who helped us choose dishes, to the incredible cook and Chef Dino and Shannon who made the most amazing compilation of flavors and put them in our dishes. We had the Italian combo with Eggplant Parmesan and Grilled Chicken Jalapeño Roma. Lemon Rosemary Chicken, Spicy Romano Chicken, Spaghetti with Artichokes and Chicken. It was incredible, highly recommend. CHOOSE HERE. Wish I took photos before but we inhaled it mah bad. Here’s a great after.

Brought my family here for dinner this evening and had a fantastic experience! Our waiter Joseph was very kind and friendly he made sure to keep our drinks full and our food hot! We had a wonderful chat and a good time. We will definitely be coming back asap!

Mary was a great server, never had to wait for a refill, and the tea was spot on. Good to come here every few years when I’m around the Alexandria area, and never had a bad visit so far.

The waitress was awesome and I hope she knows it. The food was edible but for the price, I was expecting flavor. The bathroom was dirty. The restaurant itself was nice but with the open kitchen plan, very noisy. I can’t really recommend any dishes because it was our first visit. Just a disappointment overall except for Mack, our server.

Mary was an excellent waitress and I will come back and see her again and make sure to sit in her section. You should consider her a raise. The manager Tremaine was very pleasant and professional. I’ll definitely be back and I think they both deserve raises.
