Food was good. Our waitress, Cara was exceptional. Owner/woman in charge/maybe manager (whatever she was)…needs to learn a few things. We heard her getting on to waitresses about only giving 1 refill on soft drinks and then only give a half refill. She said this multiple times right in front of the cash register, where customers could hear everything. This is way beyond ridiculous. Your customers do not need to hear and see you getting onto the employees. And who gives a half a refill? I asked for a togo cup for my sweet tea and was told they were made to charge $1.50 for togo cups. If we go back, I’ll take my own togo cup.

Delicious food. Everything I tried was excellent. Hash brown casserole was exceptional. My only disappointment was my inability to eat more than 4 full plates! Definitely will come back next time we’re in the area!

Stop by bc we were in the area and hungry but didn’t want to spend too much. Been over 5 yrs since we have last gone. Nothing has chgd. Mid variety of southern cooked, hot food. No season needed! Salad bar and dessert bar. Not too many choices on dessert bar, but the bread pudding and peach cobbler was great! We went on Mon about 2pm and blv it was $12 which included tea. Servers were kind and friendly. Would go again!

John Boys cannot be beat ! Best Food, Cleanest Restaurant and Best priced buffet I have ever had. Fried chicken old southern way pulley bone Brest meat, mmm good !. Sweet potato yams will smack your lips for hours after you leave. $8.50 per plate with desert and you won’t need but 1 trip to the line to be satisfied like Grandma cooked it. Please make your family happy go to John Boys on Canton Rd, in Marietta Ga.

First time for my husband, and first time for me in over 15 years. It was as fantastic as I remembered. Husband was very impressed…he loved the fried chicken, and all the country sides like collards, beans, mashed potatoes, fried okra. The salad bar has a nice variety, and is very fresh. Desserts are all good, but the cobbler is amazing!! Everything is kept stocked–salads are nice and cold, hot foods good and hot. The servers are lovely, especially Jackie. They make you feel so at home. The place is not real fancy, but it’s clean and very cozy. I heard lots of friendly banter among the guests and staff, so it sounds like a lot of regulars. There is a menu that shows the everyday regular dishes, and then each day of the week has its own list of items. So now I know when they will have fish (Fridays) or fried chicken livers (Tuesdays). Pricing for seniors is $11 (and includes tea or coffee I believe, but we just got water)

They have the freshest food I’ve ever tasted and the staff acts like their glad to see you. My favs (fried eggplant and chicken, deviled eggs and pasta salad) it’s my go to every time
