John’s is hands down the best. The seasoning is on point and it’s fried to perfection. It’s not overly cooked and it doesn’t taste like old grease. It’s in a ruff area, but I never had any problems. If you haven’t tried it you are missing out.

This place is in the minority neighborhood and the food and service are horrible. One visit an I’ll never go back. I don’t see why our people go there. They don’t give you enough food for the price, the place smells like dead rotten fish, an only one person speaks English. Come on people have you ever seen them patronize our black owned business???????

I was skeptical about trying this place. However, the crawfish was really good. It was sweet spicy and not just spicy. Most places just put spice and no other flavor and I loved the flavor of the crawfish. Now they did have a lot of crawfish that was dead prior to them cooking it and I didn’t care for the potatoes. But they do have conecuh sausage, and they are good in the corn was good. I will return. The crawfish place I went to before this is over 30 minutes from my house. So this will be more convenient for me.

Terrible the worst experience I’ve ever had in an establishment. I purchased food asked for all condiments which I noticed I didn’t have a tatar sauce as requested. I went back inside waited in line again to request one the older Man literally asked for my order number & read back every condiment I received told me I couldn’t have a tatar sauce because I didn’t order fish. The lady who took my order then interfered & they were both yelling with an attitude. So I said, “ cool I’ll just get a refund since you’ll want to talk crazy”. I bring my untouched plate back inside the lady opened my plate ,touched my food, & said,” you can’t get a refund there’s ketchup on it. We started going back & forth they were both yelling at me aggressively as if they wanted to fight or something. Kept my plate and my money & I told them I’ll dispute it with my bank & left their establishment!

Fish, not what I expected, the hush puppies were greasy and had a bad taste. The fish was not the white fish I was expecting. It was a croaker. Not a preferred fish for me, and the hush puppies made my stomach ache. I bought two plates not sure how the shrimp taste.
