The food is decent, the service and management is poor. We were here on a Saturday night from 8-9. Our appetizers and first round of beer flights came out quick. However, it seemed like the whole place was closing down at 8:30 when closing is actually at 11. We waited on our entrees and third (shared) flight for 15 minutes after asking another server if it was ready. The burger was very dry and the toothless Manager asked how our food was as he was walking away. Everyone seemed more preoccupied with their closing duties and end of shift meals than being a server or manager. Initially we were really impress (with the wings) but after only 30 minutes, we felt like the staff cared more about closing than hospitality. We whitenessed the cook using a broom to push down boxes from a shelf, disgusting. This place could be stellar but I guess that’s the best they could do.

My husband and I are frequent patrons. The food never disappoints. I recently started ordering the Downtowner pizza. I had made a comment to Owen that mushrooms would be nice, he said “no problem “. Tonight we sat next to the oven, Owen greeted us and asked if I would be ordering a Downtown with mushrooms. I said I would if the mushrooms could be chopped a little smaller. He said again “No problem “. The pizza was perfect. Hannah and staff are amazing.

The Red Rory of the hills was a great Irish Red Ale, and the Steak & Avo salad had great taste…would have been 5 stars if they weren’t quite so stingy with the steak, a few more pieces would have been great.

Well let’s start off with the claim of delicious burgers. Their burgers very much seem pre made for the shift and reheated for serving. If not they do a poor job cooking the burger and make it extremely dry. The fries are pretty dang good. They are backed and not anything like these weird coated fries restaurants have been using. The service was kind meh. I walked in 4 minutes before my food should be done. They quickly ran back and got my food. I came in early expecting maybe to have to wait a minute or so and the food was already done. The burger as I said was dry. It was also almost room temp. Not very happy with this experience.

My burger was outstanding! I never would have thought to put apple slices on a burger, but it works well with the maple BBQ sauce. Fries were crispy. I did not enjoy my seasonal cocktail as there was an odd bitter aftertaste. The concept sounded good though. Nice, clean space with attentive servers and a free parking lot in a mini plaza on upper Peach Street. My mom thought the poutine burger was just okay but I would go back to try that next time. It would be even better if they offered turkey burgers as an option.

The place is very cool but the service was friendly but really slow. The food was iffy at best.

Dry cheeseburger. Run of the meal Ceasar Salad, my wife really liked the grilled cheese, their fries were mid at best. I wanted to try the meatball boli but they were out of meatballs. Maybe we shoulda tried the pizzas – I don’t know but maybe it was a bad night?

Oh and the ketchup some off brand! Maybe that’s the issue. They didn’t even serve Heinz. Never even heard of Greystone. Really? Ugh.

Stopped in on our trip from Rochester. This place was amazing best turkey burger I have had in years. Potato salad was to die for, and the waitress was awesome I got a turkey burger to go we will definitely be back.

I ordered the pulled pork nachos. I have ordered them 2 previous times. They previously came on a large plate with LOTS of flavorful pulled pork. Today, the nachos came in a tin, a 1/3 smaller portion, with very little, unflavored pulled pork. I was very disappointed and will not order them again.

I absolutely love this place the food is really good. I recommend go with the pizza hands down, anything made in that stone oven is to die for even the dessert flat bread. Amazing drinks and a wonderful list of draft options some in house and some domestics. Overall wonderful time.

The staff at JRBC never disappoint! Always so friendly and personable which makes for an absolutely wonderful atmosphere and experience so we keep going back week after week! My husband and I just love the Sicilian sandwich and have ordered it the last three times we’ve been there! Can’t say enough about this place!
