It has been a while since I ate here. I ordered a meat lovers pizza. It was only ground beef and no other meats. It was probably a religious reason there was no pork on it.

Just to set a baseline, I am originally from NJ, the pizza capital of the USA in spite of what New Yorkers say. I have also lived around the country since 1976 and have eaten pizza all over the country. Joe’s makes the best restaurant style pizza I’ve had outside of NJ. My wife and I had the supreme. Look at the picture. I ripped into that even before I remembered to take a picture of it. The homemade Baklava was, “amazing” according to my wife. The dishes look different in the picture, because she was too stuffed to eat any more at the restaurant. If you haven’t been here, go. Just go. We moved to this area 15 months ago and Joe’s has just given me one more reason to love this area.

We were introduced to this place on our recent move to southern West Virginia and have eaten here twice. I love the shawarma and my wife loves the calzones. Large enough for us to take half home. Will be back often when in the area.

I got sick. Lets Start with atmosphere, hard wooden booths, not comfortable and the place isn’t clean. Service, something wierd is going on with prices… doesn’t match menu. Food, pepperoni is wierd big chunks that doesn’t resemble pepperoni I’m used to. I found the place and the taste isn’t bad, I ordered about 3 differant times and then got sick. You can’t wrap good taste into a sick pill. Something is just off here. I can’t take the risk.

Joe’s has the best pizza in the area. The pizza have a crust that you want to eat all of it. Shame the restaurant is never busy they deserve to be busy. Try the meat lovers or the standard pepperoni.
