04/22/2025: Joe’s has been around for years and is a pretty decent Italian American food in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale area. The place does need a thorough interior refresh. It is really dated, dark and showing lots of wear and tear. My family and I only get food to go. Service is okay as well.

We recently visited Joe’s Pizza and tried a variety of items. The garlic cheese bread was absolutely delicious! The house Italian dressing, while tomato-based and different from what I’m used to, wasn’t bad at all. The highlight of our meal was the sausage sandwich—cooked to perfection and full of flavor.
The baked ravioli was decent but could have been better if the pasta were a bit more al dente. Unfortunately, the sausage pizza was a letdown. While I had high hopes after the fantastic sandwich, the sausage crumbles on the pizza didn’t deliver. The flavor reminded me more of a mix between breakfast sausage and Italian sausage, which changed the overall taste. I’d highly recommend using the same sausage as the sandwich—it would elevate the pizza significantly.
One thing to note is that you place your order at the counter and seat yourself, which took away from the personal touch a bit. However, the entire team was friendly and welcoming. I’m planning to give Joe’s another try, as there’s definitely potential here!

As an Italian from New York I have high standards for Italian food and Joe’s Pizza passed the test with flying colors.
They bring out free delicious bread like a NY Italian restaurant and the sauce and pasta combo sampler I tried was on point.
The lunch specials had really good prices and you get a lot of food for you buck which is getting rarer and rarer these days.
I’d definitely return. Thanks Joe’s.

The lasagna was delicious. And the spaghetti works was also good but there was only 3 mushrooms in the whole dish and for as big as the portion is we were a little sad about that! Otherwise very good!

This is good pizza! I got the supreme with all the works. Abundant toppings, great texture, the right amount of sauce and cheese. Good stuff. I’ve been here for dine in and carry out. The service is top rate, kind and speedy. There are about five pizza places within blocks of my home, this will be my go to for pizza! Try it.

Really disappointed this time. In the past we’ve had pretty good pizzas there but this time we ordered a supreme and The toppings were not spread very well. One area had all the mushrooms and other area had all of the ham about half of it had hamburger on it one area had extra cheese but the other area did not have the extra cheese. Really disappointed this time.

You pay at the counter and a waiter will bring out your food. You get your own drinks.must be a covid restriction?. I went during the week so there was only 2 other people inside. I always drive by during the week so i was skeptical about this place but i also noticed its packed on weekends so i took my kids there and we ate delicious food! Prices are ok but the servings are big!

Solid pizza place. Very good for the area. I wish they left the pizza in for a minute or two longer. They probably wanted to bring it out quickly cause we were eating in. I’ll ask them next time. The chicken parm hero was great.
