Long line to get to the ordering counter when we arrived right at noon, but it moved very fast. Our food tasted amazing and wasn’t overpriced at all. I got the Z-Man and some spicy slaw. I really liked how the onion rings went with the rest of the sandwich. The spicy slaw has a little bit of zing but not overly spicy. Very flavorful and not spicy just to be spicy.

Ordered ribs and one meat.. the ribs were a little dry but had good taste, good flavor tender and soft, smoked turkey was good.. the bbq sauce was a little too sweet for me but went well with the ribs. Side coleslaw and pickles. I would go again if needed. Service was good. I was a little confused with the line to order. The price was good..

This Joe’s location is now my favorite Joe’s location. Same menu as the other places, same quality, same deliciousness. More parking, easy access, and the wait was only about 10 minutes when it was busy. The other two times we were there, we went straight to the window. No waiting outside. LOTS of seating. I’m completely sold on this location and will be back.

This is one of Kansas City’s TOP restaurants for barbecue. The food is consistently excellent and the menu offerings are unique and delicious. It’s also reasonably priced for what you get. My husband and I order from here at least once a week (don’t judge) and it’s always a treat.

We lived in Kansas City for 15 years before moving down to the Deep South in Mississippi. Joe’s is the BEST BBQ there is hands down!! We come here every time we’re back in KC to get our Joe’s “fix”! My favorite is the Z Man and the Rocket Pig! Do yourself a favor and eat at Joe’s!!!

The food was 1 star for bbq, which tastes like fast food. The best way to describe it. The chicken was good, not the best, the rib where the worst pork rib I have ever had. There were very fatty and very salty. I traveled for a living I have been to ever state. I know, bbq. I wish I could get my money back. But I will never go back. The red beans and rice were awesome! I love how the guy just yells out each order while I’m eating. I got a brisket sandwich, and it was overcooked the brisket. There was no mable mix with lean meat. It was all lean meat with no fat super dry. The sauce was below average, only 2 sauces, and the oringal had no favor.

We arrived for a late dinner with a party of 5. Ordered a few Z-Man Beef brisket sandwhiches as well as a couple of rib dinners and everything was flavored to perfection! The bread for the sandwiches were fresh and soft, the brisket was melt in your mouth tender and the service was friendly and quick. There wasn’t a line when we arrived but the dining room had a steady flow of patrons. Dining room staff stayed busy busing tables and making sure they were nice and clean for the next customer.

I called in my husbands order and did a pick up. It took about 25-30 minutes. When you pull into the pick up side you text the word Leawood and it’s gave you the exact number you are in line to receive your order. I love how it gave me an exact time that I will receive my food. My husband loved his food! Perfect amount of sauce! Ordered a side of Mac N Cheese and Onion Rings! Very good! I recommend the Onion Rings!
