This location is not the greatest. I went there yesterday ordered two pizzas roughly around 130$. Which seem excessive however I do food reviews and I don’t mind giving places business. However this place the customer service was a turn off. The girl at the counter acted like we were nothing her by simply placing a order. (Which is odd considering that’s what you do with a cashier). The pizza had zero flavor the pulled pork BBQ just tasted like it had a overwhelming amount of spice to be BBQ sauce. The “mac&Cheese pizza just tasted like bland boiled noodles and maybe a hint of cheese. It was very one note and flat. Just to make sure i was not the only one I did other reviews with people and alot had the similar take on it. We had to clean our own table which is weird considering it was only one of ther person in the restaurant so you would assume “if you had time to lean you had time to clean” method would happen but it’s been awhile since I’ve cooking in a kitchen so what do I know. I plan to try other locations trying different pizza’s and letting you guys know. But this location about the bland food and terrible customer service is correct. Hopefully they do better but I will be checking other places as well

We stopped in today and got several different slices to try. They were all delicious. Our favorite was Grandma’s Sicilian… So garlicky and perfect crispy crust! Chef Tom was the nicest, most helpful guy!!! He whipped up a delicious Old Fashioned pizza for my daughter as that is what she was really hoping for. Chef’s kiss… We will definitely be back next time we’re in Rochester!

I’ll start by saying I hate leaving bad reviews. Very disappointed with my order today from the Jefferson location. I ordered a extra large brooklyn thin. The pizza was not cooked through very soggy, with cheese drooping off. The shape and presentation looked like a child made it.
Whenever I order from the brighton location, it’s always perfect. I don’t understand why is it so different between the two locations?

We just moved back to Rochester from England and stopped in for a late lunch today. Joe’s was excellent and had everything the UK doesn’t: great pizza, friendly service, soda in a glass bottle, parking, and a solid buy one get one slice deal. Definitely recommend. We’ll be back.

Went here today for the first time and it was the best damn pizza I’ve had in years. They said they just got a new pizza chef and he had cooked the sauce fresh in the back. It was absolutely fire.

I had order in the past and the pizza was so good. I ordered a sheet of cheese pizza and 3 specialty sheet pizzas for a party – the gramdna, the grandpa and the aunt rose’s. The pizza was beyond disappointing. The grandma’s sauce was a soupy mess. Most of the crust was too thin and the sauce was overflowing and all over the box. All 3 sheets had a disgusting amount of raw garlic. Huge chunks of raw garlic which was unpleasant. I had almost 3 sheet pizzas left because my guests could not eat the specialty pizzas. $157 into the trash. I will never order from here again.

I’ve had a lot of pizza and I can confidently say this pizza is pizza. The dough was super dry and the pizza was crunchy not crispy which is odd and it was absolutely coated in flour and not done on the bottom. Finally the price, allegedly it was $5.15 for one cheese slice which would be insane if not for me happening to go during BOGO free, seems scammy, but an all right slice of pizza especially for WNY. Also they wouldn’t give me a cup with water which was super weird.

I wanted pizza tonight and unfortunately the Pizza Stop (100% good pies for me so far) over on Monroe Ave was closed so I decided to give Joe’s another chance.

It was a mistake and one I’ll not commit again. At current count we’re at 6 of the last 7 pizza being inedible. I looked at the top of this one and it looked fine. I should have checked the bottom before paying.

Top was well done, bottom was burnt.

They looked moderately busy but I didn’t see a stack of pizzas on top of the oven and there were only a couple of other people picking up pies while I was there. Being busy isn’t an excuse to serve burnt food but they didn’t even have that tonight.

Maybe I am the only one getting bad/burnt pizza but from how not busy they were on a Friday night I’m kind of guessing I’m not.

I’m sorry Joe. I’ll always treasure all the years where you gave me some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. I told you back in May that you had a quality issue and gave you time to address it. But after throwing away six $30 pies I’m calling it quits. No more chances.

I’ve added a couple photos from tonight’s pizza…

I’m so sad… I’ve been eating pizza from Joe’s Brooklyn since they opened in Henrietta. They instantly became my favorite pizza place. On a good day I still get an excellent pizza there but I’ve been getting far more mediocre or bad pizza than good. Under cooked pizza or like todays pizza somehow both burnt and soggy.

My double order of garlic knots had six knots but one of them was a runt. It’s the kind of thing that you throw in as an extra not try to pass off as what should be expected.

I don’t buy $10 pizza because what I want is good pizza and you cannot make a good pizza on the cheap. However, over $30 for a burnt pie and an order of garlic knots that is short one isn’t what I want either. Accidents happen, food gets burnt; however. a good restaurant doesn’t serve substandard food at premium prices. Quality control has really slipped.

When it’s cooked properly it is a spectacular pizza. Great tasting crust, great sauce… If you want great pizza, go to Joes at lunch time and get a couple of slices. The pies are all fresh and you can see the pizza you’re getting before you order.
