I’m a fan of Korean Food and Japchae is one of my favorite. Portion is big but this japchae is really greasy. Too much oil in my mouth while eating makes me lose my appetite. Their dishes look good but honestly doesn’t taste good at all. SEAFOOD BIBIMBAP IS DISGUSTING. I’m sorry but i can say it’s the worst bibimbap i ever tasted. I’m expecting a lot but the moment i took a bite I don’t wanna take another. I’m asian so i know how a real bibimbap should taste like. The rice is soggy and sticky and so OILY. Every order comes with like 3-4 side dishes and a soup. Even the side dishes taste awful. Only the kimchi and soup is acceptable. So far, I don’t recommend this restaurant better try another store in this foodcourt. Too EXPENSIVE. By the quality of food, customers don’t deserve to pay $18 and up for one dish without drinks that is not even satisfying. Will not come back here.

Love coming here, conveniently located inside of Lotte Market. Their japchae and galbi are amazing and the sides are delicious. Lately when you eat there they even give this beef broth/consomé that’s to die for. They’re always welcoming. I’ve never had a bad meal. Sundays I would say are the busiest. The gimbap and boba slush are from places next door.

Pretty good Korean food in such a convenient location! Love that they also give various banchan. Their bibim naengmyeon sauce is made in house, and it’s perfect for a hot day. Service was friendly and prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely try some other dishes because I come to Lotte all the time for groceries!

Coming from Dc where there is a little Korea town in Annandale, Joen is the real deal! It’s my go-to spot every time I come to lotte. The yukaejang (spicy beef and veg soup) and seafood pancakes are my consistent favorites. They provide lots of banchan as well! The short ribs and bibimbap bowl is also delicious. Moral of story is you cannot go wrong with anything from this place. The customer service is friendly and fast. I

I had the beef bibimbap here today. Every part of it was terrific, and at a great price. The meal included a cup of soup, some sides, and chili sauce. I ate every last bit, everything was delicious. The portions were also very generous, you’re not going to run out of meat halfway through the bowl.

The gentleman there (who I believe was the owner) was very kind. He was expedient and the food was amazing. He even gave us an item on the house which I had never tried before and became a new favorite – the Galbi. It was tender and so flavorful. I am a fan of japchae and have had it many places and it was very authentic in my opinion. When the noodles are cooked as much as they were it’s essential to serve the vermicelli with white rice for texture, which is just what I received. My mother loves bibimbap and was very pleased to receive it in a hot clay pot, a way that we rarely get it in the states but makes all the difference in the world. The hot pot both cooks the fresh egg yolk when you stir it and makes the rice crispy, adding both flavor and texture to the meal. I could hear how happy she was while eating it because the flavors were spot on, with the delicious gochujang based sauce. My sister had the mandu-guk (dumpling soup) and said it was very flavorful and there was a lot of it. The Mandu dumplings were fried crispy and the filling was delicious. My niece had spicy ramen – which I didn’t get a picture of before it was devoured, and the owner was very accommodating when we asked if it could be made with no seafood since she dislikes it. It came just as we asked and she was very happy with it. Overall it was a wonderful experience. We just moved to South Carolina but are planning to frequently visit Orlando, and it was amazing to find such a gem. We were originally planning to go to another Korean restaurant we know of in the area, but were enticed by the offerings here at the deli/food court area of the Lotte market and we are very glad we made the decision to stop. 10/10.
