I stopped in for an early lunch, The place across the street may be famous for their brunch, but this place has an amazing bacon, egg and cheese burger! it was cooked perfectly. the sweet potato fries were a great balance of salty and sweet. This place could probably use a facelift, but most places that turn out amazing burgers usually do. Definitely recommend stopping in and giving them a try

Was told great things about this place but I was disappointed. The lighting was very dim, but not sure it was intentional. The food took close to 45 minutes. The waitress never came by to fill our waters, even after our food came out. The food was decent enough but I expected it to be a bit better. Barely melted cheese on top of a bunch of gravy and patties. Disappointing. Extra crispy tots were the only real highlight.

1/26- Got another succulent cheeseburger special, this time w/ grilled mushrooms and onions, accompanied by au jus (see pic)… and of course I had to get the amazing queso on my tots again. Music was much more subtle and I was able to chat with my date. Swift and pleasant service with a smile. Made us feel at home… NEXT- we keep going back for their delicious burgers try the mushroom swiss! (my new fav)

Got their burger special (gouda, bacon, grilled purple onions, and mayo, on sourdough bread). So good!! We were stuffed. Only part we didn’t like was the loud not so great twangy country music (so loud we could barely talk across the table). Service was friendly and fast.

Found this place by accident due to car troubles. Very glad we did. It’s slow and quiet but nice and the food was really good! Now I’ll be stopping by every chance I get to pick up something when I’m in the area.
We tried the chicken bacon ranch flatbread and the strawberry salad. Both were really good and nice sized portions. I dont eat much at a time so the flat bread eneded up being 2 meals for me.

First time at Jo-El’s for lunch, and the food lived up to the hype! The Jo Burger with cheddar cheese on a jalapeño bun was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, paired with loaded tots (queso and bacon, cooked to perfection). We also tried the smashed patty—great option, though they have thicker patties too. The chicken bacon ranch flatbread was bursting with flavor and packed with meat, so good we took leftovers home. Sweet potato fries with their specialty sauce were a highlight!
Service was excellent, but the restaurant needs attention. The place felt unclean, with a noticeable sewage-like odor, and the floor desperately needs replacing. A deep clean would make a huge difference. Despite this, the spectacular food and variety will bring us back to try more. Highly recommend for the food, just hope they address the cleanliness!

The food was AMAZING the steak and cheese were so melty and tender that I feel like he was falling off by itself the fries were amazing but in my opinion they could use a little bit of seasoning the price for it was reasonable.

I was in town to help get the power back on after the ice storm and was looking for an out of the way, non-chain place to eat. We decided Jo-els sounded good and the reviews e great.
The food was off the chart and the service was great. I have saved this place as a favorite for the next time I come through the area.

Great place! Told they’ve been open since July 2022. I got the Duke burger – cheese, bacon, fried onions on a jalapeño bun smothered with A1 sauce – and a side salad. The burger was absolutely divine! The salad was very fresh and colorful with a house made ranch dressing.

An absolute perfect Taco Tuesday! 4 street tacos with drink for less than $10! The pork was my favorite. And their in-house tortilla chips are divine!
