We used to visit your previous restaurant very often, and we were happy to stop by your new location, which we hadn’t visited before. Once again, we truly enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food.
This is the most delicious Thai food we have ever had — it doesn’t compare to any other Thai restaurants. Everything was incredibly flavorful and well prepared. The waiter was very polite, attentive, and professional, which made our experience even more pleasant. We also loved the beautiful interior design and the elegant presentation of the dishes.
The only small detail we would like to mention is that some plates had chipped edges. Such plates should not be served to guests, as this is not safe and does not look aesthetically pleasing.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be happy to return again.

Jintana Thai Restaurant in Ambleside is a lovely spot for anyone who enjoys authentic Thai flavors in a calm and peaceful setting. The ambiance is warm, relaxed, and perfect for a quiet meal or a special evening out. The staff are exceptionally attentive and polite specially Razvan (very nice and polite), making you feel truly welcome from the moment you arrive.
The menu offers a great range of dishes, with plenty of options for vegetarians, which is a big plus. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and full of fresh, vibrant flavors.
Highly recommend this place if you’re in Ambleside — it’s a must-try for Thai food lovers!

Lovely Thai meal after a day of hiking. We had garlic pork, Kao Soi chicken drum sticks and prawn pad Thai. We loved how Kao Soi was on the menu as it isn’t often offered in Thai restaurants in the Uk, it was really good. I also enjoyed the pad Thai and its unusual presentation with the patterned egg on top. Garlic pork was battered and came with sriracha sauce which we also enjoyed. Servers were attentive and we were surprised how quick food came out after ordering. Perfect meal, thank you.

I really wanted to enjoy this place because the restaurant itself is lovely and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. Both dishes arrived within about 3 minutes of ordering, which didn’t feel right, it seemed like they were reheated rather than freshly cooked.
The dishes lacked flavour and didn’t taste authentic. The rice was sticky when it shouldn’t have been, and both the Thai curries and the Tom Yum soup were poor in quality. The cocktail was also not very good.
It’s a shame, because the atmosphere is nice, but the overall food quality really let it down. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for genuine Thai cuisine.

I ordered Chicken Pad Thai, which was very tasty. The menu offers lots of authentic choices. There is also a bar available with a wide selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available.

After the terrible service at one restaurant, we decided to get dessert here and take out some food for my husband. This place has great customer service! I let the server know we were just getting dessert and one takeout order, but she treated us with so much respect. I’m really grateful for her polite service.

An absolute gem in the heart of Ambleside. It has a very bright & highly recognisable on street facade that can’t be missed. From the moment we stepped through the door, the staff were very friendly & efficient. The ambience is very relaxing & there is even a table within a tuk tuk if you want to immerse in Thai life. The menu is full vegan variants, all sounding lovely. We ordered drunken Noodles & cashew nut curry – both were gorgeous. For starters we ordered satay Tofu & veg tempura, again, gorgeous. The food came quickly after ordering with a nice space between starters & main course to maintain the relaxed environment. All in all, this was a lovely experience, the food was great & I can’t wait to go back.
