I recently visited Jim’s Family Restaurant with my wife and we were both impressed with our meals. I ordered the BBQ burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The patty was perfectly cooked, juicy and the BBQ sauce added a nice tangy flavor that complemented the meat perfectly. My wife ordered the Cobb salad and it was delicious! The veggies were fresh and crunchy, and the dressing was just the right amount of tangy. We both had shakes, and they were out of this world! Creamy, thick and just the right amount of sweetness.

This would be classified as a mom and pop eatery. Very relaxed dining, big variety on the menu with a whole lot of comfort foods to sate your hunger. Not expensive by any means and pretty good sized portions, or maybe more than you are able to eat at one sitting.

We came to Jim’s for one of our family dinners. They were able to accommodate all 13 of us, which includes 3 children. We had a variety of foods on the tables. My husband and I got breakfast meals and our kids got pancakes and a breakfast meat. My kids hated their pancakes. They were covered in whipped cream, the waxy kind and didn’t like it. My husband and I got the breakfast plate or something like that and it was horrible! My husband got scrambled eggs with sausage and hash browns. The hash browns were still raw and we weren’t sure if the sausage was even cooked either. I got poached eggs, hash browns and sausage. My hash browns were cooked crispy(which I like) but they had 2 different Kraft cheese slices slapped on top of them. My eggs were hard boiled eggs poached style and my sausage wasn’t even the same as my husbands and they were burnt. The waitress came around 1 time after getting our plates and that was to drop off the check. She then disappeared again. We just paid and left. Our kids were really bored too, so, it was best for us to just leave. Disappointed in our experience. It wasn’t like that years ago.

Went this morning with my family and wow!!! what a horrible place to eat in every way!!! The OWNER was our server and started off by shushing our kids!!! Telling us that we cannot split our check without waiting longer for our food to come out! Then once we got our not tasty food, one of my family member found a hair in his sandwich and when he told the OWNER she said that she asked the chef and that the chef said, “that’s not a hair” and that she was confused what the chef said because he only spoked spanish… We had places to be so we paid our half with my wife and left… and obviously when asked if we wanted to leave a tip we said NO! My family later on paid for their part and they asked them if we were coming back because we left no tip!!! What a disgrace food and people! Do not recommend this place!

I always love going to Jim’s and have been going there for years. It’s hit or miss with the servers there. Sometimes they’re great and nice and sometimes they are just rude and you feel like you’re putting them out if you ask questions. What they don’t realize is sometimes when you bring people who haven’t been before, they need information. Not everybody is a regular. Nobody should be rude to somebody for asking a question at a restaurant especially when it’s asking a nice and polite way. I know servers have a tough job and there can be really rude people. But when somebody is nice you should be nice back.

We took a group of 8 adults and 2 children in on a Sunday, but we were still seated in 10 minutes! Food is nothing fancy but always good! Jim’s is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast!
