I had Jimmy John’s at a friend’s house and it was great so I decided to get a sandwich from the one near me. They are not created equal! This sandwich was near empty and they gave me rotten lettuce. Extremely unfullfilling and unsatisfying overall. Im sad this was my first experience from the location near me and I’m still on the lookout for a decent sandwich shop. The emptiness of a $20 sandwich is pathetic but the rotten lettuce is absolutely unacceptable, and the employees should take more care into their sandwich making. Ask yourself “would you eat this” if the answer is no, step it up.

I’ve eaten JJ for 20yrs. From Illinois. This location is a disgrace to the JJ name. Partially baked bread, 2 pickles on a sandwich, doused in mustard, wrap half full and flat. When I go back to any location in Illinois they know what’s up even the middle of nowhere. This is embarrassing. Not to mention it used to be freaky fast… I had to go find the delivery driver after giving 2nd grade instructions just for this nonsense… and it was ordered out of JJ app…

Jimmy John’s gets 4 stars from me. The sandwiches hit the spot every time, and the staff usually keeps things moving fast—but I really miss a lot of the quirky signs the new design ditched. That snarky, borderline-sarcastic vibe gave the place character, and now my dining experience feels a bit… polite. Still good, just not quite as fun.

I ordered delivery. In the past, I have enjoyed this brand, but the Surprise location has some issues to work on. I asked for the sandwich to be cut in half. It was not. I ordered regular ranch dressing. I received the very hot flavor. I was not happy.

Thought we would grab a quick dinner on the way home. We werecurious about this shop as it just opened. The store was clean and nice. The staff was friendly and super nice. Ingredients were all fresh and tasted good.
Only problem was the sandwich fillings, (there wasn’t any)! Both my beach club and my wife’s tuna barely had anything on them. You couldn’t call it fillings as it didn’t even make the bread stay open. I should have taken pictures but I’m not sure the camera could zoom in enough to show the fillings inside.

Got a “beach club” from here, supposed to come with turkey, got home to find it was just a veggie sub so got stiffed on the fact I paid for meat, no meat. They were also “out” of onions (the girl just didn’t want to go in the walk in and grab onions, also pretty sure she didn’t want to get turkey either) terrible service. Usually love jimmy johns but as someone who used to work at a sub place I found the service I got deplorable enough to write this review, if you want jimmy johns just go to a different location. Worth the drive to literally any other location.

We’ll have to say this will be my 1st & last time going. I always seen the commercials on TV when people walked in they got welcomed ” Hi Welcome to Jimmy John’s”. I thought wow that’s cool. But that is not the experience me and my partner had.We got no welcome, no can I help you with something ? The vibe was Very cold and not welcoming at all.Finally someone named Connor came to the counter I explained to him I had never been there before and was still looking after my partner ordered. He was not friendly at all nor helpful just kinda starred at us and didn’t offer any recommendations. He didn’t even tell us how they would call us up to get our food. My partner liked her Sandwich. I did not it was very plain and had only tiny bit of lettuce and tomato on it I don’t know if there was options to add other things cause they weren’t offered. I changed the cheese from provolone to cheddar and was charged….I was expecting a Better quality sandwich for the price $24.70 & that was just the sandwiches, forget about the meals, it looked nothing like the picture. Needless to say we won’t be returning ever.

Jimmy John has always been one of my favorite places to order. Ever since I’ve moved to surprise and ordered from here, they have forgotten my chips everytime. I have paid for chips for 4 different orders and have never spoke up until this time, even though I never received them. Pretty frustrating paying for something you don’t receive multiple times. Hope they can fix this issue.
