Yesterday, Sat.10/5, at about 5pm I went to the DeForest Jimmy John’s. I must tell you how impressed I was overall!! Our sandwiches were perfect, and the friendliness of the employees, the decor, and the cleanliness of the restaurant were all excellent. As it was almost supper time, they were pretty busy. I was particularly impressed with the sandwich maker, Michael (name on receipt). He couldn’t be fazed. He worked steadily, efficiently and pleasantly. I watched him make every sandwich with great care, while maintaining his friendliness and cool. He deserves a raise and recognition. Thank you.

Fast is definitely not the name of the game here. Kathy who often answers the phone is one of the rudest people I’ve had the opportunity to speak with. My most recent order was placed before the store opened at 9:34a for delivery between 10:15-10:30. When I called when my food had not arrived by 10:30 Kathy argued that their clock had a different time and it was already out for delivery. My food arrived 15 minutes late. If you want to time delivery to work breaks, good luck to you.

My one complaint about this Jimmy John’s is that I always tip when I order a sub. I NEVER once got a ‘Thank You’ from anyone. These ingrates need to be appreciative/ better trained.

People don’t review places when they actually have good service and food, only when its bad. I got a simple sub but everything was good. Bread was fresh and lots of turkey and tasted good too. People need to hear when they do well too.

As a team we order game day subs weekly.
Sometimes they are super fresh, but the next it’s like day old.. very inconsistent..but the staff is super friendly

Ordered a sandwich with extra cheese and was charged $2.20 extra for it. When I got the sandwich home and opened it up there was NO CHEESE. Not only was it disappointing to have no cheese they ripped me off for $2.20. This isn’t the first time they’ve messed up my order. I’m done with this place.

This jimmy johns didn’t give me the normal amount of turkey that it normally comes with. I had 2 pieces of turkey folded in half. It was see through and torn. All bread. No filling. I love JJ, wth happened?!

We waited an hour and a half for our “freaky fast subs”. I called the restaurant to check on my order (45 minutes after we ordered) and we were told they were on their way. We continued to wait, so I called back 1.5 hours after I ordered. The manager, Sarah proceeded to tell me there was a warning stating there was a long delivery time and she actually hung up on me.
We received damp subs that we ended up throwing away
I never received a message about the long delivery time in addition I have an email that clearly states it would be a 30 minute delivery.
I would recommend avoiding this location and try one of the other small businesses in town.
