Quaint little Greek restaurant. Food is fresh, made to order. Huge portions. All three of us made it though maybe half our gyros. Great to bring home for later. They don’t skimp on the tender gyro meat. Glad we tried it.

Their food is amazing, I wish I was able to get in more often. The owners seem like really cool down to earth people. Thwy are always welcoming and will have a conversation with anyone hwo walks theough the door, while making their food right in front of them. If I had to pick the beat single food item in all of Mount Vernon it would be the Gyro they make.

Well, we got up early from Batesville AR to get there and I’m so happy we did. It’s our 2nd time there as we passed thru headed to Indy and it was once again…..Fabulous! The best gyro in the country. You can tell this cash-only lunch spot is loved by locals, and it was a local who recommended it to me. Limited menu with a focus on making the best possible gyros: fresh ingredients, moist slices and intense flavors. Far preferable to franchised fast food and well worth the stop.

Very delicious and filling hole in the wall.. which are the BEST places to eat. Gyro (pronounced YEE RO) sandwiches and stew are spectacular! The meat is beef and lamb. Place opened in 1977 and had way more food options. But the menu now is simple, which makes it easy for indecisive people. Even though this place is ran by a man and a woman, which at times sound like they are married, they are not, lol. Service is super, very friendly and helpful! Now GO EAT!
