Went out to eat with a friend and we were able to be seated quickly and the server was very knowledgeable and helped me decide what to eat. I asked if they had any specials and he said that he was shocked that they didn’t do daily specials like other places he had worked but assured me everything was good. I have been going for years so usually have a positive experience.

Ordered the tailgate package for Father’s Day and waited 30+ minutes for curbside order that was placed 2 days in advanced. Once we received the order we were missing our gallon of tea. Went inside to get it and asked could we get a gallon of lemonade instead (same price online) was told it would be an up charge. Came home and our biscuits were smushed because they were placed at the bottom of the bag with everything else on top of them. Horrible service & horrible customer service. Should’ve gone to the prattville restaurant. No utensils were in the bag but were supposed to be included.

AWESOME!! Whom ever the Kitchen Manager/Prep cook is deserves a raise!! I’ve visited this location on multiple occasions and today the food was the best I’ve ever had!! Whoever made the collards!!! Needs to share that with every other Jim n Nicks location. It was our wedding anniversary and I was a little sad since Red Lobsters quality score was so low my husband said no to dining there so he suggested Jim N Nicks! It was so good it made our dinner so special! Not to mention our server Euriana I believe: she was SO nice and efficient she deserves a raise as well! Thank You Jim n Nicks!! I’m a hard woman to please when it comes to food and service but I had not one complaint aside from you didn’t have any onion rings 🙂 Thank You!!

This was by far the BEST jim & nicks we have eaten at…. the food was awesome… i got a NICE loaded baked potato… other places like oxford. Al had tiny portions & for the $$ you pay… you want toppings & meat!! All my teenagers & my husband were very pleased with their southern burger…. our awesome waitress noticed that my son barely got any fries on his plate… so she got him more…

We just were at Jim and Nicks, celebrating my husbands birthday with family. The restaurant has always been a favorite of ours, but I doubt we will be back. The service was the worst we have ever had anywhere! First off, I ordered a cocktail. After a few minutes I was told they didn’t have the ingredients to make my margarita (???) so I ordered another cocktail. Waitress returned and said no ingredients for that drink either. ( ). My husband wanted a draft Coors, but they only had it in Bud Light, so he took Coors in a bottle instead. We ordered appetizers……to be served as appetizers. Still no cheese biscuits served, after multiple requests for them. One appetizer served, but not the second one. Finally it came……but no plates to eat it on. Request for plates…….more requests for plates……waitress finally said after multiple requests for plates to just put it on our dinner plates because it is coming out. By then that appetizer is cold and we sent it back. Finally food comes out. But STILL no biscuits! Finally, biscuits come, but no butter. At this point we’ve had about enough. Finish our food and request bill. Bill comes and both cocktails I never got were on it, along with Bud Light draft that husband did not order, plus the appetizer we sent back. After discussion with manager to correct bill, we left. Sad to say that it was probably the last time we will frequent that establishment.

My friend and I went to Jim ‘N Nicks on Atlanta Hwy in Montgomery, Alabama on 3/17/23 at 3:50 p.m..I ordered the 2 lbs. rib dinner with mac n cheese & baked beans. When the food arrived the macaroni & cheese was cold and the baked beans seemed to be 2 tablespoons full, lukewarm and tasted NASTY. About 3 of the ribs were center cut and the rest were big end pieces filled with hard bones and gristles throughout the rib bone and they were just barely lukewarm to cold. I asked the server to please warm the mac n cheese and swap the baked beans for Cole slaw. I explained the ribs to her as she was looking at them. She got the manager. I told the manager the ribs are lukewarm and several pieces will be difficult yo eat due to the gristles throughout the bone. The manager gave her explanation as to why I was served those ribs. I asked her why would they serve those hard end pieces with bones and gristles throughout the rib(s). The manager said she would fix the order. The server returns with lukewarm ribs on a cold plate with 1 sliced pickle. I really wanted to send it back, but I figured there’s no sense in continuing a feud with people who’s fixing your food. My order was $27.48. That’s entirely TOO MUCH MONEY for food (1 Meal) that’s not prepared and presented properly. WHY would you put a cold scoop of mac n cheese in a dish and present it to a customer to consume? To the manager, please understand customers deserve center cut bones and bones that are easy to bite and pull the meat off!!! Also, please tell your servers to at least look at the mac n cheese. If the cheese appears dark orange & stiff, the MAC N CHEESE IS COLD!!! This was our first time returning to Jim ‘N Nicks in months due to poor service such as receiving cold ribs on a hot plate & catfish filets cut in half.
