My order was made by phone we specified to the lady not to put yellow cheese we ask for cotija was 1 Carne Azada fries and Nachos, and let me tell you this was the 3rd mistake with the same cheese in same order Different Occasions we call to ask for a manager and the person her name is Ambar hang up the phone not one’s not twice 3 times she did. my husband was mad for this person actitud . She was very very very
unprofessional and low education and my husband drove back to return the food to exchange it for the right order. of curse we are not going to eat what we didn’t ask for they put quesadilla mozzarella cheese yes they put white Mozzarella quesadilla cheese and they said they are not going to do another order we are being a costumers for more than 25 years and they don’t even return are money in to my account in top of that they ask for tip in the beginning of the transaction for a terrible terrible service.plus they charge for something else I don’t even know what it is. Open food People check your receipt for items you don’t even order

Nice big serving size on the carne asada fries. Good quality meat and the fries were crispy underneath. Authentic queso fresco sprinkled on top. Sour cream and guacamole was super fresh. Very reasonably priced.

One of my favorite Mexican spots in Esco. Last time I ordered a plate of fries (big enough for like three people!!)a fish burrito, and a medium tamarindo. The tamarindo was really fresh not too sweet. My food was done like 6 minutes after I ordered. Everything tasted incredible like it always does. I truly enjoyed the creamy Chipotle Salsa with my fish burrito.

Consistently the best Mexican around, and the hot carrots are the best, which are included. I like the machaca burrito with cheese for breakfast and it never disappoints.

The chicken in the burrito tasted weird and had too many pieces with unpleasant texture. The salsa and veggie bar is great and while chips cost extra, at least they’re freshly made and hot.
Went back to try a breakfast burrito and it was fantastic! Fully loaded and delicious. And the have a very good salsa and toppings bar–one of the few in Escondido.

Food is good and all but make sure you count your change they be doing some grimy things I went and bought good total was 23 I gave the lady 40 and she try to give me 3 back in change I confronted her and she got all nervous just watch for wat they give u back, and I go back again a year later they don’t know how to roll thier burritos just sell the place to Oscar’s or someone that actually does thier job rite. I used to come here all the time. I honestly thought I was still a regular customer to some extent, but I realized this last time I went in I was kind of hesitant. It was like my subconscious was reminding me the past few times I’d had bad experiences. This time the carne asada was so tough that I didn’t even finish my food. I don’t know what has changed, but it really has gotten to the point that I’m super hesitant to come to this place anymore, even though it used to be one of my favorites. Another time I got a burrito that was mostly just rice, so sometimes the quantities are really out of whack. It’s just too much of a gamble now which is a real bumper. This was a really good place.
