I had to update this, and lower the star rating I was stomach sick within an hour after eating there, and stayed that way for hours and later had the itching. I definitely got a heavy dose of gluten somehow. I am still learning what all the questions are I should be asking, so I am going with 3 stars. The food was still tasty, and same with the coffee, but I would not recommend to anyone eating gluten free out of necessity, or at least proceed with caution.
Original review was:
Really good coffee, and Gluten free paninis. They have several gluten free options, and it’s so cute inside, I’ll definitely be back

We came here for crepes but I ended up having the chicken quesadilla, it was really good! The food definitely hit the spot. One thing I noticed is that everything was served in to-go boxes. Not sure if that’s a permanent change or just for the day, but personally, I prefer food on a plate, it just feels different. Still, the place has great flavors and a nice atmosphere overall!

I visited this cozy spot late Saturday with a friend and was immediately impressed. We both ordered coffee, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to return the next morning for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! The portion sizes were generous—so much so that we couldn’t even finish our meals. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, I’ll be back anytime I’m in the area!

Stopped by for a quick coffee drink. We came in just before the big rush. The young lady taking our order was super nice and helpful.

I was able to get a good tasting drink for my mom who is a diabetic. They offer a few sugar free options.
There is upstairs sitting and plenty of room for downstairs sitting.

Super stroller friendly!

Bathrooms needed attention.

Overall it was amazing experience highly recommend!

The people were nice and the aesthetic of the place is super cool. We weren’t in a hurry, but we waited forever for two crepes, so it was a little off putting to go in for a quick treat only to spend a sit-down restaurant amounts of time there.

That aside, the crepes were good and everything seemed clean and hopping. It’s a neat little spot that’s definitely worth checking out if you have some times.

Thx Sasha , I hadn’t realized it was already closing time. Nonetheless she allowed me to order my turkey/ cream cheese/ cranberry / lettuce sandwich, plus some great chips ✅. A smile & Sashas kindness will bring me back , thanks !!! I really enjoyed my sandwich while walking back to Pt. Defiance . Upon my next visit , I arrive earlier, see the menu in its entirety and enjoy the inside + service element !

Absolutely amazing food and the coffee was so freaking good. Do NOT go here if you are in a hurry. They do not pre-make food so it’s not rushed. This is my 2nd visit here and food is so amazing. Super fresh fruit on the sweet crepes and their menu is really big for such a smallish place. I will post pictures for the food options. There were signs I didn’t see until we were done that said you can order online instead of standing in line. I will do that next time. There is an upstairs with more seating. It was accessible too as I took Grandma with me this time with her cane. She forgot her hearing aides so couldn’t hear much since it’s pretty noisy but we had a great time and will go back. Super friendly staff. Hard to park close so had to drop Grandma off and go park. They were so sweet to her as she got to the front of the line before I got back and helped her find a seat and pick something to order. The menu boards were hard for her to see. Just be patient and don’t be in a rush and you will be rewarded. Enjoy!!!

Stopped by Jewel Box Café for what I hoped would be a quick coffee stop, but it turned into a much longer wait. The patio was inconvenient, and while there is a QR code you can scan for parking details, there’s no obvious signage that parking is free for retail visitors. The café itself has a nice vibe, with a cozy interior and an outdoor seating area that was blocked off for customer use. They offer free Wi-Fi, which is a plus, and have two unisex restrooms that require a key. It was clean but a bit inconvenient. I also found it odd that food must be picked up at the counter since it’s not a full-service restaurant. The wait for coffee was painfully slow, to the point where people I made friends with others waiting just like me. The coffee itself was decent, but the service pace and parking setup left me unimpressed.

Love the atmosphere and decor, but unfortunately the drip coffee was not as spectacular. Not sure about food or specialty drinks.

For those who are particular about artificial sweeteners, their sugar free flavors use sucralose, not stevia.

Nice little cozy spot. Food options looked great and the portion sizes are mirebthan acceptable. Bubble tea tasted good but was warm which was really weird considering it had ice. Ladies could’ve been a little more attentive to customers. Few of us waited at the counter before being taken care of even while there were people there behind. Can’t be too harsh though as they were working, but it was simple tasks that could’ve been put too the side until customers were taken care of. Overall, not a bad little deli/Cafe spot. Recommend trying them out.
