Found a real gem. The atmosphere was the best I’ve experienced, super friendly staff and customers. The eggs were fluffy and cheesy, the silver dollar pancakes to die for, but the star was the chicken and waffles. You have to try their special Benedict too!! So good, I’m already planning my next trip.

We are not big diner people, however, I kept seeing this pop up as one of the best diners in New Jersey, and I had to check it out. I love that this is an authentic old school diner with only a few tables and the old school exterior and interior feel. There are so few of these around. We were seated right away, on a Saturday afternoon. The service was great, and the food came out really fast. We thoroughly enjoyed everything that we had. We may be diner converts after this! We will definitely be back!

Breakfast was wonderful. The bacon, egg, ham, and cheese sandwich was a delight, and the bread was truly out of this world. The fries were great, and the orange juice was fresh and enjoyable. The diner itself felt very cozy and welcoming.
Parking was a bit uncomfortable, which made arrival slightly inconvenient. The biggest drawback for me, however, was the service. My server did not come across as friendly or welcoming—there was no smile and very little warmth. As someone who works in the food industry, attentiveness and hospitality are non-negotiable for me, especially when visiting from out of town.
That said, the food and atmosphere were strong, and overall it was still a good experience. While I can’t give five stars this time, I’m open to returning and seeing how things go next visit.

This is a small bustling diner, with friendly wait staff. The menu is varied, and the portions generous. Lots of take out orders. We sat at the counter, and were promptly served. I ordered the homemade hash, which was indeed homemade with large chunks of corn beef. It was bland, though, and the home fries were also under spiced.

There’s a reason Broad Street Diner consistently earns recognition as one of the top diners in New Jersey and nationally. The execution is dialed in, the menu is deep, and the consistency across dishes is unreal.
Maria and her husband Nicholas (the chef ) are doing something special here. You can feel the care in every plate.

My husband and I like to share our food. He order a pastrami sandwich and me a pulled brisket sandwich. When it came he’s was small and mine much larger. I said don’t know how I could finish it but we will be sharing. After our lunch of sharing. Waitress came back and made me feel uncomfortable said I guess you were able to finish after all like she was body shaming me. Don’t think. It’s worth going back. I enjoy my half a sandwich. My husband didn’t think he’s was too good I never tasted it. I felt ashamed after that comment

Great service. Great food. Great prices. Great building. Waffles were great. The turkey bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll was great. The coffee was great. The banana oatmeal granola raisin cinnamon bowl was awesome. It looked visually delicious when it was brought to the table. I really enjoys this place. The server with the glasses and mustache was terrific.
