In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. We enjoyed our meal at Jet’s Pizza on Hixson Pike. We ordered honey bbq bone in wings, along with a hand tossed sausage & mushroom pizza and a Detroit style super special pizza.
The wings were cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and juicy on the interior. I really enjoyed them, some of the better wings that I have had in recent memory. We ordered an 8 piece and it was gone very quickly.
The hand tossed pizza was for the children in our group. There was very little of the pie left at the end of the meal, it was a big hit.
The Detroit style super special was a treat to get in Tennessee. The crust was crispy and the toppings were very fresh and flavorful. I would definitely order it again. If you like deep dish pizza, this would be a great option for you.

Best place to go for pizza in Hixon, possibly Chattanooga.
Their lunch special for two slices and a drink is some of the best food-per-value that you’ll come across, easily under cutting other fast lunch alternatives, speed is great, and taste is amazing too.
The staff is friendly and professional. Their store is always incredibly clean.

The boneless wings are meaty and taste good. The Detroit style pizza here is one of the best I’ve had. This location had 6 booths and 2 tables to dine in.

Where do I even begin? It’s Tuesday night and we decided to order pizza. I placed the order at 6:30 PM. Two hours later—after calling to ask where our food was—it finally showed up, lukewarm.
I called at 7:46 PM and was told the delivery driver would be leaving in five minutes. Thirty minutes after that, the pizza finally arrived while I was on the phone asking them to cancel and refund my money. Completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, management couldn’t care less. Extremely disappointing experience. This was our first and will definitely be our last order.

Ordered a Detroit-style pizza for the first time from Jet’s Pizza. I have eaten pizza all over the US and world-wide. One of the best I have ever tasted. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and deliciously chewy on the inside. Just the right amount of garlic in the crust. The mozzarella was excellent quality and the veggies fresh and roasted to perfection. Definitely my go-to pizzeria when I am visiting Chattown.
