I got birria tacos with a side of refried beans and an iced tea. We came on Easter and there were a few other people in the restaurant. The service was amazing and the waitress made us feel very welcome. The food was awesome and we were brought containers without asking as it was clear there was no way we could finish everything.
New favorite local spot! Everyone liked their food, even the kids. Highly recommend. It’s a little old school and not super fancy but it was clean and the food was great. I liked the ambiance with the Mexican music and decor. Look forward to visiting again soon.

We had the Friday special. Texas Fajitas for 2 just $24.99. The best Texas Fajitas I’ve had in Pensacola. The beans were very tasty and the rice was moist and flavorful. Staff was nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

Ordered through Uber eats to try it. We got no tortillas sent with the queso. Beef enchilada is good. The red sauce is yummy! Chicken tamale was very tough chicken. Side beef taco was a wash out. Totally flavorless and looked like an American taco. Refried beans were good!

Was going to Pollo El Gordo (fat chicken. Real Mexican food. It is excellent on Barrancas Avenue. Found out they had bought an old restaurant no offense but it wasn’t that good back in the day. Now they have El Gordo’s on Fairfield and Lillian Highway. Really excellent food. 8:30 a few times a week if not more. I think I like polio better. I like to order the machete which wasn’t on the new restaurants menu but they made it for me. It’s like two big fancy quesadillas with everything in them what food is excellent.

Food is good overall, but it’s not the best Mexican I’ve had, except the salsa which is really, really great. Food is not as flavorful as other places I eat Mexican. I believe the tortillas are probably handmade- they’re exactly like what I had in Mexico, excellent. Service is good. Love the decor and the big outdoor space.

Overall I found it kind of bland. I will say the tortilla chips were very fresh! I ordered a Burrito, Nachos and a Tostada. The best thing was the burrito. The beef was just kind of bland. I also got a piece of bone in my burrito from the steak. I nearly chipped my tooth.
