Food was good but not outstanding. Meals were not hot when presented to the table. No one like room temperature eggs. No wait and not that busy, over half the table we’re empty when we arrived at 11am.

Husband and I always enjoy eating here, first time trying there wings, one word, phenomenal! Food and service always superb. Have to mention though, the bathroom was unkept and smelt. Other than that everything was great.

Jethro’s was a good lunch pitstop on our way through Des Moines. I got the sandwich with onion straws on it and added hot sauce. With the baked beans. The beans were very tasty and had a great smokey flavor. My sandwich was also good but didn’t knock my socks off. Service was friendly and the place was clean. I appreciated the moist toilettes at the table as well to clean off when you’re finished eating.

Stopped in for a early dinner/late lunch. No crowds, so we were seated right away and the service was excellent. Food came quickly and everything was hot and fresh. Jethro’s has always been consistently great!

The food was pretty good and the service was not bad but I am so sick of extra fees. It is posted on their door but a 3.8% inflation fee. Really? You have raised your prices along with inflation and the ask for an inflation fee on top of that. Just raise your prices so it is more clear. I feel this is a sneaky way to charge customers more.

I went in at 7pm looking to have dinner with my spouse. We got treated and seated right away. Then we sat, and sat. We waited for over 10 min and never even got acknowledged. Didn’t even get asked if we would like drinks. I would’ve understood had they been busy. But that wasn’t the case. The staff were obviously not busy they were just doing they’re own thing. Which wasn’t looking out for the customer. So after all that we left. Really disappointed

We had a work dinner with a group of 8 late on a Sunday night. Andrew was our server and he was AMAZING. So fun, totally cool with our crazy ordering of everything on the menu late on a Sunday night. We LOVED him. He fit right in with the fun we were there to have. The food was MIND BLOWINGLY GREAT too. I’ve never had pork this good. So many fun menu options. We had a blast and Andrew was definitely a big reason. We HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for delish pork or BBQ in the area.
