Drove 40 minutes to get this soul food and I’m so glad we did. The food was so good!! Portion sizes out of this world! Pam was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and hospitable the whole time we were there. And when we needed to go plates because no way could two people eat all the food we got… she even helped us box everything up properly so it would stay fresh on our drive back home. It’s definitely a place we’ll be talking about for quite some time and comparing every other restaurant up against!

Went to Jesse’s when they first opened and was not satisfied,side I’d never go back well wish I had stuck to my word went there today because I wanted soul food . I han greens that taste like they were soaked in garlic that’s all I could taste. Sweet potatos that I don’t know what they taste like but I couldn’t eat them.chicken wings that were cooked to perfection but had no taste. The amount of food was great ,but I paid 37.00 for a plate and couldn’t eat over half the food so disappointing

Very welcoming and friendly staff, the food is amazingly cooked and seasoned. A lot of heart and soul went into all the food they make. I definitely recommend to give them a try. We knew from the drinks to the catfish nuggets to the smothered chicken how everything was presented to us it would taste amazing. That we found a perfect comfort food restaurant.

The owner’s showed great hospitality as soon as we entered. Our fish was cooked to order and the portion sizes was plentiful! There is a bit of a wait time since our fish was cooked to order and it was worth the wait! Our food was still hot when we got home! I definitely recommend Jesse’s Soul Cafe!

Today was me and my friends first time at this restaurant. I ordered fried okra’s,fish,cabbage,macaroni and come chicken wings. My friends had fried pork chops mashed potatoes and corn. All the food was great. Portions were more than enough we all needed a to go box.Pam and her son was so nice to us we came right befor they were closing really wanting to try the food . They still welcomed us and all of are food was fresh and hot. 10/10 I’ll be visiting them again

Local family owned & operated. Food was magnificent. It clearly shows they take a lot pride in their food. Good down home meals just like your Grandma used to cook. Southern comfort food. Nice manageable menu. There’s parking on the side of the building also. We ordered the Jack fish & catfish meal with cabbage, potato salad & sweet potatoes for sides.
