I order the same thing pretty much any time I get Jersey Mikes. Typically a #14 with extra ridiculous juice and cherry peppers. It always tastes great, but what REALLY makes me loyal aside from these subs sent from the heavens straight serving SANDWICH GOD REALNESS, is actually their customer service.

Very put off by the experience we had tonight. We got there at 8:10. They close at 9. So I can understand that they were beginning closing procedures. But they already had no options for bread other than the French. They did not ask us if we wanted it the Mike’s Way or ask if we wanted any toppings. I had to stop the sandwich maker and ask him to add what I wanted. My boyfriend didn’t even get the option. He had a hot sandwich and waited by the glass to tell them what cold toppings he wanted. They paid no mind to him and brought him his sandwich already wrapped up. This all happening while the woman, who seemed to be the lead, was eating up front and never washed her hands.

This Jersey Mike’s is AMAZING! I can’t say enough great things about them I went in yesterday and ALL of the employees were warm, welcoming and smiling…a sign of great management/ownership! They were fast to get my order made and made correctly! They inquired about my day and showed genuine interest in providing the absolute best customer service by being engaged with their customers and not just going through the motions. I had the pleasure of meeting Peter, the franchise owner, and he graciously bought my sandwiches because I’m a travel nurse serving in his community. I was so grateful and thankful to encounter such incredible people that truly love their jobs…a RARE gem in today’s landscape of grab and go restaurants. I highly recommend you visit this spot…their sandwiches are my favorite and they know how to make their customers smile Thanks Peter and all staff…keep doing what you’re doing! #winning

I recently visited the Jersey Mike’s Subs in Tacoma and had a fantastic experience. The staff here was friendly and attentive, and my sub was made quickly and accurately. The bread was fresh and the ingredients were high-quality, making for a delicious and satisfying meal. First of all, I normally LOVE Jersey Mike’s! The Gig Harbor location and Lakewood location have been top notch. Placed an online order to the Tacoma store at 8:11 pm. Order was supposed to be done at 8:26 pm. We arrived at 8:28 to a crowded store. We came to the harsh realization that our physical order ticket was sitting on the pick up counter with no sandwiches in sight. We watched atleast 4 different customers place their orders and have their sandwiches made while we waited. We would have been better off just getting in line and ordering. Not much point in using the online ordering system. After inquiring about our sandwiches and being snapped at in return, we got our order at 8:44. I understand businesses can get busy and we are both very understanding people. A little customer service would have gone a long way. Stuff happens, we get that. But don’t act like we are the bad guy for arriving at your location when your system said our order would be ready…

First time trying this place and was super disappointed.. overpriced small dry sandwiches not to mention the staff was probably the slowest crew of people I’ve seen in a while. If Guy making sandwiches was any slower I’m pretty sure he would go into reverse, Was brutal to watch. I won’t be back sorry.

I’ve never been a big fan of big name Deli’s like Jimmy John’s or Subway but Jersey Mike’s is definitely worth trying! Their sandwiches are so much more tasty than their competitors are, I was pleasantly surprised

Probably one of the slowest places I’ve been. I’ve gone to Jersey Mike’s in many other locations and never had an issue but this one is always so slow. I waited almost 30 min from ordering my sandwich to paying with only 2 people in front of me. Only come if you have time to wait around.

TLDR version: VERY DIRTY, do not eat here if you want your food prepared in a clean environment and DO NOT EAT HERE IF ANY MEMBER OF YOUR HOME IS GF. Basic food handling safety is not followed. Store manager defends the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service, they have been cited by the health department for violations before.

Despite “Just Drzazga” review, this is indeed a Jersey Mike’s and it’s a wonderful sandwich! The service was quick and there was A TON of meat on the sandwich! Very very clean location too. Excited for this addition to Tacoma!
