Wasn’t worth the cost, waited 30 minutes for our bills, and we were all late going back to work. It’s not a good lunch option, as they weren’t very busy. Nachos were disappointing in flavor as there was a lot of seasoning sprinkled over the top. It didn’t blend well with barbecue and jalapeños.

Great service. I’m not sure what happened was a good amount of food, not my cup of tea, and I heard great things… need to try more off the menu, maybe the brisket or prime rib. Was really surprised it was just a mediocre chicken salad sandwich was loaded with pepper my girl comes all the time loves it said its never like that and i dont what happened i have heard there known for a good chicken salad ..good portion and the waiter was amazing, and food came really fast. Big Tom’s down the road seemed to have a better flavor, just my opinion there like the sister resteraunt, but everyone always tells me good things. I just need to try again, I think.

Had to come and try out since everyone is talking so much about the new ownership. The French dip and fries was really good. Everything fresh. The fried mushrooms was good but not as big and not as many as there used to be. (Use to getting whole mushrooms not sliced)
I do miss the one trip salad bar. They charge 13.99 for the salad bar. But you can purchase a side salad. And you can’t purchase pasta or potato salad as a side anymore per our server. Service was good so thankful for that.
I would go back.

My family went for Sunday Brunch at Jenkins Restaurant in Cleveland, Tn. Everyone loved it, even my pickiest grandchild! I have never seen him eat that much at one sitting. Everything was tasty and well presented. Some folks in Cleveland long for the “old” Jenkins, but I greatly prefer the new decor and creative food choices. We tried quite a few different dishes and enjoyed them all. The hashbrown casserole cake was a standout for me. The kids got a kick out of the toy train that runs on tracks overhead. I want to go back and try the blackened fish sandwich that I have heard great reports about. Something for everyone!

Very nice restaurant with lot of options and choices.
The staff is friendly and helpful. We were there with 10 people so we had room on a big table. The ordered food was there pretty much in time for everybody so that was good. I think everybody loved their food choice. In my opinion it was OK-ish but not the best. The prices are ok so that is good to know.
The dining room is big enough for couples or bigger groups. There is a little train running around and that is special.
Parking is great and at the front door with plenty of space.

I saw on Facebook today that this place is closing down. Couldn’t be more upset. This restaurant holds so many great memories for me, and the food has never disappointed. Lovely staff, and an incredible atmosphere.

Tonight was our first time at a Jenkins Deli and we couldn’t be happier that we decided to stop in. We felt their welcoming family atmosphere just walking in. Our waiter Chase was ever so helpful with recommendations and answering our questions. We went with the Beast chop steak with mushroom, onion, and green pepper toppings. It was incredibly lean and tasty. Our appetizer and each of the sides were all tasty. I had to take home half my meal, but we couldn’t resist dessert. Which between our waiter Chase and the manager Chris they decided to put on the house. What a true surprise! We will definitely be back, multiple times to finish trying all their yummies! Thank you for such a great experience Jenkins!

It’s good that this place is closing. Our food was over cooked, as well as they tried to over charge us. Barely wanted to refill our drinks, and when refilled my sweet tea they barely put any ice in it so wasn’t cold.

I came back in town recently after 10 years and couldn’t help but try Jenkins. The food was okay – my Reuben was good. The pickle chips were great with good dill flavor. The ‘famous’ chicken salad, was tasteless and dry. The charm of the old location was missing, and it felt a bit more like any other chain like Applebees or Chilis with decent not stellar food.
